Bill’s connection to Butler spanned more than eight decades, beginning with his time as a student in the late 1940s. In 2021, Butler named Bill and Joanne Dugan Hall in recognition of a $7 million multi-year gift.

Butler University mourns the passing of Bill Dugan ’51, a devoted alumnus, accomplished business leader, and one of the University’s most generous and enduring supporters. Our thoughts are with his daughter, Candy, and his entire family.
