Christopher Nolan will bring Homer’s ‘THE ODYSSEY’ to the screen in 2026. The ancient Greek poem tells the story of Odysseus and his journey home after the Trojan War. The tale includes iconic episodes like his encounters with the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, and the witch-goddess Circe, culminating in his reunion with his wife, Penelope.

Christopher Nolan’s next film ‘THE ODYSSEY’ is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology. Starring Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o and Zendaya. In theaters July 17, 2026.
