I don't mind that Rishi Sunak is on holiday in California or that he's dining out at a Michelin starred restaurant as there are riots in the UK
What I do mind is that as the leader of the second largest party in parliament, his last Tweet was on August 4th, and he's made no efforts since to comment or speak out about the need for calm, for calling out the far right thugs - many of whom he tried to appease with his Stop The Boats rhetoric - and that seems to show a general disinterest in public order in Britain
Leadership is about being involved and engaged, in any capacity, caring, even an iota, even if you are on holiday on the other side of the world

Pretty sure insulting/dismissing voters - even if they’re annoying you, disrupting you, protesting you - in a key swing state isn’t the best way to win that state. Assuming that they *have* to vote for you, otherwise Trump will win, doesn’t work. Just ask Hillary Clinton 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
