Advertisements for cigarettes are also speech yet we regulate that because it’s commercial speech and the tobacco industry was using marketing and advertising to mislead people and target kids. Social media companies are engaged in analogous corporate misbehavior which causes mass harm and they know it. Just like Big Tobacco.
