⚡️China ignores the U.S. blockade of Iran A Chinese tanker has passed through the Strait of Hormuz. The vessel Rich Starry, which is under sanctions for ties to Iran, was the first to enter the strait and exit the Persian Gulf after Trump’s statements. It is carrying about 250,000 barrels of methanol. Another sanctioned vessel, Murlikishan, is now heading toward the strait. It has previously transported Russian and Iranian oil.

Op deze indrukwekkende militaire begraafplaats liggen meer dan 400.000 Amerikaanse veteranen en hun familieleden begraven. Hier rusten onder meer soldaten die hun leven hebben gegeven om Europa te bevrijden in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Ook het graf van George C. Marshall is hier. Hij was de man achter de Marshallhulp die Europa hielp in de wederopbouw na de oorlog. Dit is slechts één voorbeeld van hoe cruciaal de banden met de VS zijn voor onze welvaart en veiligheid.
