A Nigerian man was caught with a fraudulent identity card and was asked to write down and spell his South African name on the ID. He was unable to do that. The funny part is he arrogantly continued to say he’s a South African. Nigerians, where do you guys take the audacity from?

A team of police officers is growing frustrated as they wait for SARS Customs and Excise officials to scan a piece of equipment suspected of containing drugs. A narcotics dog flagged the item, and police officers from the Durban Metro Police and Hawks were called in to a local shipping company. The hydraulic part was then transported to Pier 1 at Bayhead Road. But now they allege Customs officials refuse to turn on the scanner to verify their suspicions, despite several requests to staff and managers. The part is due to be shipped to Mauritius. They were told a CAS number is required, not the Hawks enquiry number they produced. Is this the standard procedure, @sarstax, or is there a deviation here? With the huge public outcry over drugs, it is important to understand how suspicious items are handled.
