A recent study that marked ringed seals near Resolute Bay and Pond Inlet recorded that they swam over 3,000 km out from Lancaster Sound into Baffin Bay and Davis Strait. The longest dive recorded was 558 m! Ogloff et al. (2021). Arctic Science, 7(2), 494-511. #seals #nunavut
