Glad it’s becoming common knowledge that accountants and finance people often make the worst CEOs for non-financial businesses. Too much obsession with cost cutting. Too little focus on innovation, growth, and building something meaningful. You can’t cut your way to greatness.
When you make the minimum wage too high, you make it less likely that companies will create jobs. When you give employees day one rights, taking on employees becomes an extremely high risk proposition for employers. We should be making it easier to create jobs, not harder.
