I met with the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies Ontario today at Queen’s Park to listen to the important work their members do in building and delivering infrastructure across our province.

On behalf of the people of Scarborough Centre, I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family and to everyone here who knew and loved her. I hope you find comfort in your memories and strength in the legacy she leaves behind.

From her work with the Trinidad and Tobago 50 Plus and Seniors Association to supporting families and building connections across Scarborough, her impact was far-reaching.

Honoured to have attended the celebration of life for Mrs. Feeroza Sultan-Khan, a remarkable woman whose dedication and compassion strengthened our community for decades.

Wishing Ms. Standish continued joy, health, and love as she celebrates this incredible milestone!

During the winter, Ms. Standish went out to clear the snow in her driveway after a big storm, neighbours and community members came together to help clear the snow. This is a beautiful reminder of how kindness spreads and how one life can bring people together.

Celebrating Ms. Zera Standish’s 100th birthday was truly special. The room was filled with stories, laughter, and cherished memories of a remarkable woman whose spirit has touched so many.
