Trump is now saying the US will have boots on the ground in Venezuela after we arrested Maduro and that we will be taking "a tremendous amount of wealth out of the ground" in the form of oil, as we "run the country." How can anyone be OK with this? MAGA are you really OK with this?

Secretaries Rubio and Hegseth looked every Senator in the eye a few weeks ago and said this wasn’t about regime change. I didn’t trust them then and we see now that they blatantly lied to Congress. Trump rejected our Constitutionally required approval process for armed conflict because the Administration knows the American people overwhelmingly reject risks pulling our nation into another war. This strike doesn't represent strength. It's not sound foreign policy. It puts Americans at risk in Venezuela and the region, and it sends a horrible and disturbing signal to other powerful leaders across the globe that targeting a head of state is an acceptable policy for the U.S. government. This will further damage our reputation – already hurt by Trump’s policies around the world – and only isolate us in a time when we need our friends and allies more than ever.

In one of his earliest public speeches, Jesus claimed he’d been sent by God “to proclaim good news to the poor,” “freedom for the prisoners,” “recovery of sight for the blind,” “to set the oppressed free,” and “to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Jesus spent the rest of his life doing just that, all while challenging oppressive systems, breaking religious rules, and defying social norms to support those on the margins. Eventually, he was executed as a political dissident by the occupying Roman government. But it didn’t end there. Jesus overcame death with life by rising from the grave, demonstrating once and for all that there is nothing more powerful than the love of God. He now offers forgiveness, freedom, and flourishing to anyone and everyone who wants it. If you really want to “keep Christ in Christmas,” worry less about people saying Xmas or Happy Holidays and more about sharing this story—the story of Jesus. On Saturday, ICE agents followed a Burnsville family home from the store, failed to present a warrant and entered their home with guns drawn. They detained four legal citizens who presented legal documentation, leaving a seven-year-old child without parents. A seven-year-old. Let that sink in. Not only is this inhumane and cruel – it's illegal. Trump’s ICE is out of control.
