BREAKING: Pete Hegseth is reportedly beginning to worry he should have kept a few women or people of color in top military roles because now, when the Iran War turns into a giant disaster, he won't have any minorities to blame.

People don't seem to understand what is happening. Iran has decided that it will control the straits of hormuz for the indefinite future. That means, we, global energy consumers, will be paying an additional energy tax, since it will take years if not decades for Iran to repair & reconstruct the civilian infrastructure being destroyed. We are going to pay to rebuild Iran, not Iran. It's strange that people don't understand this.

Whatever you think of Trump trying to deport these two Iranian women (how will he even get them there?) we can all agree this is not the behavior of a confident man. A military that feels good about its war effort does not need to turn its attention to the random (supposed) grand niece of a guy they assassinated in a drone strike 6 years ago. In the footage, multiple officers force her to the ground; one officer punches her directly in the face while she screams that she cannot breathe. Her family reports that officers also tased her multiple times during this encounter. This incident should alarm every person who cares about civil rights, disability justice, and basic human dignity. A young autistic woman in crisis was treated like a threat instead of a patient in need of help. We are calling for a thorough, public investigation, the immediate release of all body‑camera footage, and real accountability for every officer who chose violence over de‑escalation.
