We started of with an amazing Geography lesson this week. We recapped our prior learning of continents and oceans to locate The UK and Greece. @foxfield @FFHumanities

Today we conducted fieldwork to identify the human and physical features of Greenwich Park. We also recapped the eight points on a compass and described the location of different objects. @foxfield @FFHumanities

To end our Tudor topic, we examined a range of sources, extracted key information and created a fact file about John Blanke. @foxfield @FFHumanities

This afternoon, we used globes and atlas’ to locate different countries and cities around the world. We found China and Italy and reflected on how these countries linked with the Silk Road. @foxfield @FFHumanities

This afternoon we joined the Roman live stream with the @MuseumofLondon. Experts showed us an ancient human skeleton and revealed what this told us about Roman lives. @FFHumanities @foxfield

The children had a lot of fun this afternoon being immersed in their ‘Victorian’ classroom. We had black boards and chalk, rows of boys and girls, and even a (makeshift) Dunce hat! ⁦@foxfield⁩ ⁦@FFHumanities⁩

We delved into our History knowledge organisers today. First we made notes of key facts, then we shared them using a Cops and Robbers activity. Finally, we thought ahead to what we’d like to learn next. @foxfield @FFHumanities

Cherry has enjoyed using Purple Mash to create leaflets using all of the sticky knowledge that we’ve learned in our geography lessons this term. @foxfield @FFHumanities

To begin our history lesson we played a retrieval board game. We used our knowledge organisers to recall sticky knowledge and key vocabulary relating to our topic of the Romans. @foxfield @FFHumanities

This afternoon we researched key information about Boudicca. We worked collaboratively to organise our findings into a tree map and shared this with the rest of the class. #Conceptmaps @foxfield @FFHumanities

In our History lesson we used the double bubble concept map to identify similarities and differences between old and new toys. @FoxfldHazel @foxfield @FFHumanities
