Visible gold has now been observed and reported in multiple areas of core, with strong visual indications of mineralisation across the system. @FirstClassMetal (LON #FCM) has reported encouraging progress from drilling at the Roy prospect within its Sunbeam Property, where visible gold has been identified in drill core. The discovery comes from a broad mineralised structure that has now been traced for more than 250 metres and could extend beyond 350 metres across the property. The company’s ongoing 1,000-metre diamond drilling programme has consistently intersected this mineralised zone. Chief executive @MarcFCMetals said the presence of visible gold suggests the potential for high-grade results, possibly around one ounce per tonne, although this will need to be confirmed by laboratory assays. @FirstClassMetal (LON #FCM) has issued an update on drilling activity at the Roy prospect within its Sunbeam Property, confirming that five holes have been completed for a total of around 490 metres. The work forms part of a planned 1,000-metre campaign. According to the company, each of the completed holes has intersected structures believed to be associated with mineralisation. Visual observations from the core have been described as encouraging, although laboratory assay results are still awaited. The Sunbeam Property occupies a highly prospective position between land packages held by Agnico Eagle, including the nearby Hammond Reef gold deposit, which hosts 3.3 million ounces of gold in probable mineral reserves. @focusXplore has announced a series of board changes alongside a small funding round to support its operations. #FOX plans to appoint Antony Legge as Independent Non-Executive Chairman, while David Russell will join as Executive Director and Neil Slade as Non-Executive Director. Meanwhile, Sean Wade and James Tosh are set to step down from the board. Focus Xplore has also raised £75,000 through the issue of convertible loan notes. The notes will convert into shares at the lower of £0.00025 per share or the price of any future share issue, and can be converted at any time up to 31 December 2027. They carry an annual interest rate of 10%. The proceeds will be used to settle historic creditor balances and provide additional working capital. Above 50p we are looking towards as high as 75p by the end of this month. The shares have already rocketed from under 10p in December, and have hit our best case 50p plus target.
