Google Photos needs to calm down with its reminders. "Ready for this?", "Has it really been a year?"... as though I've been travelling around the world & doing cool things, but every time it's just me being a sad girl taking pics of other people's cats.

A while ago i downloaded google photos to access an album from a vacation . Immediately without me asking, it proceeded to try and stuff ALL OF MY PHOTOS into the storage . now my personal email is dead . Thanks google

IDK how, but this morning after I'd texted photos taken on my phone, when I checked it later this afternoon all my photos in the google photos apo are gone from Jul 2025-yesterday. Not backed up (I won't), not in trash. My other phone (don't ask) is fine, but that's too bad 😞

Hi Brett! These notifications are part of Featured Memories, where Google Photos automatically creates highlights and themed collections from your library. You can manage or turn off these notifications at any time in Photos settings > Notifications. Learn how: goo.gle/3JwejZl.

@googleaidevs hey um.... my Google Photos app keeps saying "wait, look" then making albums of visually similar photos (clouds, plants, food, festivals, etc). been doing this same behavior several times over the last few weeks. any idea why? or where i can find out why?
