Tyler Tucker's dad, Byron, was delayed at a Chicago airport for almost 24 hours, and he wasn't even supposed to be there at all!
Byron was traveling from Thunder Bay, Ontario to St. Louis to join his son for the Blues Dads' Trip. He was supposed to go from Thunder Bay to Toronto to St. Louis, but a cancelled flight in between forced him to make a stop in Chicago instead. Because of poor weather, he spent almost 24 hours in the Chicago airport - with no hotel rooms available within a 10-mile radius - before finally boarding a flight to St. Louis.
But when you're a dad, no delay is too long to keep you from spending time with your son. #stlblues
Rookie Sensation, Ryerson Edgar, is the @OHLHockey Rookie of the week. 🤩
Edgar had four goals, including a hat trick across three games, and was a +5 after the weekend.
Congrats, Eddy!
