As a “tribute” to Coach Alvis Johnson, the KY High School Football Coaches Association bc is asking that football stadiums all over the state, be “lit up” tonight at 9:01pm. The lights will stay on for 23 minutes. (Years as head football coach at Harrodsburg)

In honor of Coach Alvis Johnson, there will be a community fellowship gathering at AJ Field tonight starting at 8:00 and ending at 9:24. The lights will come at 9:01 and go off at 9:24 as football programs across the state honor his legacy by doing the same.

Mercer County High School has introduced ex-Campellsville University & Lindsey Wilson men's basketball coach Keith Adkins as its new boys' hoops head man. Back in the day, Adkins played at Paintsville High School with John Pelphrey & Joey Couch
