CIET-NCERT successfully conducted a five-day workshop on *“Review of Research Report on Open Educational Resources (OER)”* from 16–20 March 2026. The workshop focused on critically reviewing and finalizing a national-level research report, with an emphasis on improving quality, coherence, and strengthening implementation of policy-relevant recommendations. Expert reviewers, internal faculty along with other team members worked collaboratively to refine the data analysis, key findings, conclusions and actionable policy insights. Prof. Indu Kumar, Head DICT appreciated the collective efforts of the team in bringing the report to completion. This report is expected to play a significant role in guiding policy implementation and enhancing awareness & adoption of Open Educational Resources (OERs) across the education ecosystem and achieve the vision of NEP-2020. CIET-NCERT has undertaken a national-level research study titled “A Study on the Awareness on Cyber Safety and Security among Secondary Students (Class IX–XII).” As part of this research, a five-day face to face workshop on “Review of Research Report on Cyber Safety and Security” was conducted during 16–20 March, 2026. A workshop was organised to undertake a comprehensive review of the research report, focusing on validating the conceptual framework, research design, and data analysis. The session brought together expert reviewers along with active participation from internal team members. Through the systematic review process, the research report was critically examined and finalized, making the report more comprehensive, consistent, and ready for guiding policy decisions and promoting cyber safety awareness among secondary school students. The Shramdaan initiative, led by Prof. Dinesh Prasad Saklani, Director, NCERT, for more than three and a half years, continues to inspire collective responsibility and environmental awareness. Prof. Dinesh Prasad Saklani, Director, NCERT, along with the Heads of Departments, faculty members, and administrative staff of NCERT, came together for a meaningful Shramdaan on the NCERT campus. This initiative was carried out under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, led by our Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign launched in 2024, and Special Campaign 5.0. 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 | 𝐕𝐒𝐊 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐫 The Rashtriya Vidya Samiksha Kendra (RVSK) team successfully conducted an in-person Capacity Building Workshop for the Manipur VSK PMU team on 19–20 March. The sessions focused on strengthening understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), critical datasets, and the broader vision of transforming education through data-driven decision-making. The workshop also emphasized the role of emerging technologies in enhancing educational monitoring, improving data management systems, and driving innovation in governance. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 -Strong push towards NDEAR interoperability and real-time governance through the 6As framework. -Focus on accelerating APAAR saturation and addressing challenges in APAAR generation. -Insightful discussions on AI integration to improve data accuracy and future readiness. A productive two-day engagement aimed at empowering state teams and strengthening the VSK ecosystem for better educational outcomes. The workshop was concluded with a valedictory session graced by Prof. Indu Kumar (Head, Department of ICT & TD), and Dr Rajesh D. (Associate Professor, CIET-NCERT & National Coordinator, VSK), who also distributed certificates to participants.

केन्द्रीय शैक्षिक प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान - एनसीईआरटी, नई दिल्ली द्वारा विद्यार्थियों को पाठ्यपुस्तकों के साथ बहुमाध्यम शिक्षण संसाधन उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से कक्षा–8 की हिन्दी पाठ्यपुस्तक ‘मल्हार’ पर आधारित आलेख लेखन विषयक पाँच दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन 16 से 20 मार्च 2026 तक सफलतापूर्वक किया गया। यह कार्यशाला प्रतिभागियों की लेखन क्षमता को सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल सिद्ध हुई। समापन सत्र में CIET- NCERT के संयुक्त निदेशक प्रो. अमरेन्द्र बेहेरा ने अपने प्रेरक उद्बोधन में शिक्षा में प्रौद्योगिकी के समुचित उपयोग पर बल देते हुए कहा कि बहुमाध्यमीय संसाधनों के माध्यम से सीखने की प्रक्रिया को अधिक रोचक, सुलभ एवं प्रभावी बनाया जा सकता है। उन्होंने गुणवत्तापूर्ण सामग्री निर्माण में भाषा की सरलता, स्पष्टता और संदर्भगत प्रासंगिकता के महत्व को रेखांकित किया तथा प्रतिभागियों को नवाचारपूर्ण दृष्टिकोण अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
