On behalf of the Secretary of War and Deputy Secretary of War, we are grateful to Secretary Phelan for his service to the Department and the United States Navy. We wish him well in his future endeavors. Undersecretary Hung Cao will become Acting Secretary of the Navy.

How many important investigations are going without the necessary resources because the FBI is spending its time investigating “people who tell the truth about Kash”?

NEW and BREAKING: The FBI began investigating New York Times reporter Elizabeth Williamson earlier this year after she published a story about how Kash Patel was using FBI personnel to provide his girlfriend with govt security and transportation. FBI agents interviewed Patel's girlfriend about Williamson, queried databases for info on the reporter and recommended moving forward to determine whether the reporter broke federal stalking laws. nytimes.com/2026/04/22/us/…

1. Some thoughts on the big Democratic win in VA last night. First, once again, Democratic voters showed that they wanted Democrats to fight fire with fire when it comes to taking on Trump. Yes, we oppose gerrymandering, but we can't ban it from the minority.
