Norbridge RE

We have had a wonderful session this morning following an assembly on British values. We learned more about Islam, wrote in Arabic and tried on some traditional clothing 🙂 thanks so much for organising @FamilyNorbridge we have loved it!

Today in @NorbridgeRe we had a visit from Mr Hardy. He spoke to us about what its like to be part of a community and particularly a Christian community. We had a great afternoon and learnt why it's important to be part of a community @Y2Owlclass

A dragon?! Some of our Year 6 children have used music and dance to parade the school as our Invention Week hook! All children will be writing about Chinese New Year this week and we can’t wait to see their writing!✍️📝🐉🐲

This afternoon, Mr Hardy has come to see Year 2 to tell us all about the story of Joseph. We are learning why this story is important to Christian people.

This morning we have had some great Chinese New Year surprises! We have had a dragon come through our classroom with a parade of people and the chance to learn a Chinese New Year dance !💃. @DeltaNorbridge @NorbridgeRe #t4w @Y2Owlclass

A special thank you to Worksop Islamic Society Trust, who welcomed the children of @Y3Merlin this morning, to share how Muslim people follow their faith. The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit and showed interest and respect. @DeltaNorbridge @NorbridgeRe

In RE this afternoon we had a debate about morals in a Right vs Wrong activity where we discussed different scenarios @NorbridgeRe

In RE today we connected our learning on values to the bible fable of The Lost Sheep and acted it out 🐑☺️❤️

This week, we have been learning this Jewish Hora in RE.
