You know, even if/when we escape Tinubu next year, we really cannot escape ourselves as a people. There is something fundamentally wrong with people, and it's because there's no capital punishment for the obstruction of democratic functions. Technically, anyone who stands in the way of democracy should be shown to the gallows.

I have a patient who stopped treatment because of fund, he started radiotherapy with center’s assistance but he no longer has money for accommodation because he came from Enugu and delay in his treatment won’t do him any good, has about 30 fractions of radiotherapy left 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I still have an iPhone 4, which a friend gifted me in 2015. I was holding this phone in October 2015 when officers of the Nigeria Police Force “arrested and detained” my friend and me around the Old Garage area in Ado Ekiti. My crime? I was holding an iPhone. They refuse to release us, even after the person who gifted me the phone offered to bring evidence of rightful ownership. They eventually released us until they collected money from us and beat up my friend for saying he knew his rights. I still hold that iPhone and occasionally charge it cos of how I value gifts and the other memory it holds. PS: After we paid and they “released” us, the policeman who arrested us heard my surname and asked to speak with me. Turns out he lived close to our house as an undergraduate at UNAD, and he always came into our compound to fetch water free of charge for his entire stay in Iworoko. I asked him if that was the proper way to repay his benefactors? I hissed and walked away.

Hubby has been using this Rice cooker for the past 20 years. I met it in his house after we got married. Tonight, after I was done cooking with my daughter, I told her its time to trash the rice cooker and get a new technology one. Hubby overheard us and he said "To me, that rice cooker is family now. Don't throw it out. You can get a new one, but this rice cooker stays until it get spoilt". 😂😂 He said the rice cooker saved him in his bachelor days. I guess when you used some things for so long, they become family. 😂😂

I presented him with a ceremonial sword in his esteemed capacity as the Jagaban (leader of warriors/conquerors), urging him to continue his war on crime and criminality, anti-corruption, and particularly as he embarks on the second-term re-election, assuring him that in Ogun State, we are solidly behind him.

I still don’t get it sir. Please draw the diagram. This time, just clarify how the money approved in 2024 is different from the one approved this month. Forget about the lecture on bonds and legacy debt. How is 3.3tr from 2024 different from 3.3trn this week? Simple question

Mr Obi, 3.3tn = VERIFIED legacy debt. This is money already owed to power generation companies and gas suppliers over the years. Not new spending. Old unpaid debts were finally audited and agreed upon. These debts are accrued from subsidies. ₦4tn = BOND (This is a borrowing plan.) A bond is NOT money that has already been spent. It’s how the government plans to RAISE money, usually by borrowing from investors, to pay off that existing ₦3.3tn debt. Again Mr Obi, One is the DEBT. The other is how to PAY the debt. If you are still confused about this let me know so i can draw a diagram for you
