Swiss bishops betray faithful Catholics by backing a total ban on ‘conversion therapy,’ labeling any use of religious fear or shame as ‘spiritual abuse.’ But what about the Act of Contrition (‘I fear the loss of heaven & pains of hell’)? Mission preachers warning of judgment? Even Jesus shaming the Pharisees as ‘brood of vipers’ & hypocrites? True abuse is abandoning souls to sin instead of offering Christ’s freedom.

The Church of England burned the original image of Our Lady of Walsingham and razed the shrine to the ground. Anyone caught here praying to Mary was arrested as a Catholic hung, drawn and quartered what a joke they now promote it. Hypocrites

"It's a place about Christ, about God coming close to us." Every May, the National Pilgrimage to The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham is held. @FideliumLondon, a network of young anglo-catholic Christians in London explain why it is such a significant place. #PilgrimPlaces

Today is the feast day of Saint Joan of Arc, who died excommunicated. How is that possible? Excommunication is a canonical penalty whose purpose is to highlight the gravity of an action and lead the offender to repentance. Obviously, being excommunicated is not something advisable. Nevertheless, what determines whether a person goes to Heaven or not is being in a state of grace, without mortal sin on their soul. That was the case with Joan of Arc when she was burned at the stake, after a very dubious trial influenced by the English. Even though she was excommunicated, in an inexplicable decision, she was allowed to confess and receive Communion before her execution. As can be seen in this painting, she received the Holy Communion kneeling and on the tongue. In what other way could she receive her Lord? At the end of the 15th century, Pope Callixtus III reopened the case and, after examining the evidence, Saint Joan’s trial was declared null, invalid, and without effect. Centuries later she was beatified, canonized, and declared patroness of France. Saint Joan of Arc, pray for us.

Walking through a former abbey in France that's now a hotel. The buildings survived. The Faith didn't. Meanwhile, the Synodal Church keeps listening to everyone except the Catholics who left. At what point can we stop the infernal Synodal listening, and start fixing the problem? WATCH NOW: Catholic Twilight Zone: What the hell is wrong with the Synodal Church?

Now that the Ressurection movie is done Mel Gibson is working on his new miniseries about one of the most epic battles in Christian history, the Great Siege of Malta. 700 Knights of St. John held off an Ottoman force of nearly 40,000, fighting to stop the fall of Christian Europe and decide the future of the Mediterranean. A story of courage, faith, and impossible odds, finally coming to the screen.

Of course, Pope Leo is talking about not watering down synodal Christianity the one that allows adulterers, habitual fornicators and sodomites to receive the sacraments the one that blesses sodomite 'couples' the one that calls a mosque a 'sacred space' the one that condemns the death penalty and just war principles the one that welcomes non-Christian religions as equally valid ways to God the one that asks for blessings from sham women schismatic archbishops who support abortion and gay 'marriage' Watering down and softening the Catholic Faith is at the heart of the synodal agenda This is taking gaslighting to a whole new level
EWTN News@EWTNews

Pope Leo XIV warned Thursday against the temptation to make Christianity more attractive by diluting its content or softening its demands, telling Vatican evangelization officials that the faith is transmitted above all through credible Christian witness. “It is certainly not by watering down the content or softening the demands that Christianity can be made attractive but by bearing witness with humility and courage to ‘the way, the truth, and the life’ that has converted and sanctified so many people,” the pope said May 28. The pope made the remarks during a meeting in the Consistory Hall with members of the Dicastery for Evangelization’s Section for Fundamental Questions Regarding Evangelization in the World at the conclusion of its plenary assembly. According to the apostolic constitution Praedicate Evangelium, the section is responsible for studying fundamental questions of evangelization and promoting an effective proclamation of the Gospel, identifying appropriate forms, tools, and language. Leo said the crisis of faith, especially in the West, has contributed to “widespread religious indifference.” “To many, faith no longer appears relevant to their lives,” he said. “The underlying danger, the gravity of which is not always perceived, is that the very essence of what is most human — namely, the search for meaning — may be lost. The great existential questions remain unanswered, whilst a technological culture that is supposed to meet every need is spreading.” More at: ewtnnews.com/vatican/leo-xi… ✍️ Victoria Cardiel

𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜: “𝙈𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣.” "When a person dies, they do not go straight to heaven, unless they are Saints on Earth. You are doing a great evil to your loved ones, if you don't pray for them. Do not say, my relative is in heaven now! No they are not. If they are Catholic and died with confession they went to Purgatory. It is your obligation to make sure that person receives the last Sacraments, and your obligation if you truly love them, to pray so they may get out of the fires of Purgatory soon. A Holy Mass once a year, it's cruel! Once a month is not any better. Think of your time, how will you like people to pray for you. Remember one second in Purgatory feels like years. Pray and say many Masses for your loved ones. No One goes to heaven not pure. "I come to tell you that they suffer in Purgatory, that they weep, and that they demand with urgent cries the help of your prayers and your good works. I seem to hear them crying from the depths of those fires which devour them: 'Tell our loved ones, tell our children, tell all our relatives how great the evils are which they are making us suffer. We throw ourselves at their feet to implore the help of their prayers. Ah! Tell them that since we have been separated from them, we have been here burning in the flames!' - Saint John Vianney The Church has always taught that nothing impure enters Heaven, and most souls must first be purified in Purgatory. When we assume the dead no longer need our prayers, we may actually be abandoning them in their suffering. The Holy Souls in Purgatory cannot help themselves anymore, they depend on our prayers, sacrifices, and especially the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. To offer only one Mass a year, or to forget them completely, is a terrible neglect of charity toward those we claim to love. Saint John Vianney warned that the souls in Purgatory cry out for help: they beg their families, their children, and their friends to pray for them so that they may finally enter Heaven. If you truly love your departed family members, pray for them, offer Masses for them, and never stop remembering them. St. John Vianney, pray for us.

UNDERSTANDING TRANSUBSTANTIATION: THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD MIRACLE IN CHRISTIANITY “What if the bread and wine at Mass are no longer bread and wine… but Jesus Christ Himself? That is the doctrine of Transubstantiation.” The doctrine of Transubstantiation is one of the greatest and most mysterious miracles in the history of the Catholic Church — a miracle so profound that even many Christians struggle to believe it. Yet Catholics have defended this truth for over 2,000 years because it came directly from Jesus Christ Himself. No mere symbol. No metaphor. No empty ritual. The Eucharist is the Real Presence of Christ. What Is the Holy Eucharist? The Holy Eucharist is the sacrament in which Jesus Christ becomes truly present — Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity — under the appearances of bread and wine. This was instituted by Christ at the Last Supper when He declared: “This is My Body.” “This is My Blood.” He did not say, “This represents My Body.” He spoke literally and the early Christians understood Him literally. What Is Transubstantiation? During every Mass, when the priest repeats the words of Christ at the consecration, the bread and wine are completely transformed into the actual Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Not symbolically. Not spiritually alone. But substantially and truly. The outward appearance remains the same, but the inner reality changes completely. Catholic theology explains this through substance and accidents: Substance → what something truly is. Accidents → what we perceive with our senses: taste, color, texture, shape, and smell. After consecration, the accidents remain bread and wine, but the substance becomes Christ Himself. The Church also explains this sacrament through matter and form: Matter → the bread and wine offered on the altar. Form → the words of Christ spoken by the priest: “This is My Body… This is My Blood.” Through the power of God, Heaven touches Earth at that moment. The Biblical Foundation Jesus made this doctrine unmistakably clear in the Gospel of John chapter 6: “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” Many disciples abandoned Him after hearing this because the teaching sounded too hard and too literal. Yet Christ never corrected them or softened His words. The Eucharist is therefore not optional in Catholic spirituality it is the center of Christian life itself. Why This Doctrine Matters If Transubstantiation is true, then every Catholic Mass is the greatest encounter with Jesus Christ on Earth. That means: the altar is holy, the tabernacle is sacred, and Holy Communion is not ordinary bread. It is Christ Himself. This doctrine was formally defined at the Fourth Lateran Council in 1215 and reaffirmed at the Council of Trent during the Protestant Reformation, when many reformers rejected or reinterpreted the Eucharist as symbolic. Yet for Catholics, the Eucharist remains the beating heart of the faith the miracle hidden in plain sight. So the question remains: If Christ truly meant what He said… how should we approach the Eucharist?

Faith Under Pressure

John of Damascus lived close to the time Islam first appeared and directly witnessed its rise. He called Muhammad a false prophet who borrowed ideas from the Bible and mixed them with Arab beliefs to create a new religion. He questioned why Muhammad claimed private revelations with no public witnesses, unlike Moses and the biblical prophets whose signs were seen openly. What makes this powerful is that this was not a modern critic. This was one of the earliest Christian scholars living under Muslim rule, and even he concluded that Islam was built from borrowed teachings, not divine revelation.
