Did you know how amazing it is that Jennie performed on the Outdoor Theatre at Coachella, the second-largest stage after the main stage, and that happened after the debut of her first full-length album as a solo artist? The lineup announcement was made in November 2024, while Jennie released "Mantra" in October 2024. Her album, "Ruby" hadn't even been announced yet. Jennie started moving on with the album in 2025 and released it in March 2025. she had only just released "Mantra" and they put her name in the lineup and said she would be on the secondary stage. It was crazy. They didn't even know what her album would be like, whether it would be a hit, we didn't even know "like JENNIE" yet. but they trusted her, they were so confident in her potential and her performance. They believed Jennie would set the stage on fire without needing much props, they probably expected it but didn't even care if the album would be successful. because she hadn't announced anything about the album at all at that time. but they chose her. The Outdoor Theatre always remained the second most important stage after the main stage, it was like a scaled-down version of the main stage, and the artists on the secondary stage were like supporting artists to the main artists. This wasn't surprising, as Jennie was a newcomer at the time, as it was her first full-length solo album. The Outdoor Theatre was located next to the main stage, aiming to draw the audience to the most important part of the event during the highlight – the central area. Once the Outdoor Theatre artists finished, people would leave to continue the fun on the main stage for the main artists to perform. and of course, most K-pop artists didn't perform on this stage, but Jennie was different.
