Flyers have been dominating whenever the game has been at 5-on-5. But the PK is just getting absolutely gashed, and the officials are calling a ton of penalties.

Christian Dvorak with a 50-point season. He just matched his career high in goals with 18. Really, really good first season for him in Philly.

According to a team spokesperson, Joel Embiid woke up to intense stomach pain. He went to get checked out and it was determined that he had appendicitis. He is currently in surgery…..the pain was intense enough that he was immediately ruled out for tonight

This signing gives the Flyers more control over his development. They will not rush him, but it's great Center depth, which the Flyers need

Looking back it’s pretty crazy that in the offseason Danny drafted Porter Martone, signed a solid starting goaltender, signed a 50 point center, and traded for a 65 point center. #LetsGoFlyers

Embiid really dropped 34 on the DPOY with appendicitis man when its all said and done I know what I saw

Quick google search of a recovery time for appendicitis surgery is roughly 2 to 4 weeks. That puts a potential return in somewhere in Round 1 of the playoffs, but there should be extra caution returning from surgery like this. I imagine everybody will be super cautious. #Sixers

In history of basketball there has never been a player go through more random injuries & freak accidents than Joel Embiid… Surgery for appendicitis is just the cherry on top. Obviously hope for a quick recovery & hope he’s good, but my goodness… It’s unbelievable at this point

My understanding of the 2026-27 element of the contract is that he'll be given a shot to make the Flyers out of camp next season. If he doesn't make it, he technically will have to be loaned back to Sweden. (An later arrangement could be made, though, to have him go to the AHL.)

BREAKING: We have signed forward Jack Berglund to a three-year entry-level contract beginning with the 2026-27 season. Berglund will report to the @LVPhantoms (AHL) for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

Per a source, Flyers still trying to get prospect Jack Berglund to the Phantoms. It's a bit complicated because he has one more season left on his Swedish contract. Regardless of whether it happens this season, they hope to have him in camp next season. After that, it would be determined whether he stays with Flyers/Phantoms or returns to his Swedish team for one more season.
