Our hearts continue to go out to the families, friends, and school communities affected by the tragic bus accident last Friday in Carroll County. We extend our deepest condolences, especially to the students, staff, and families of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and the Kenwood Middle School community.
The department has been closely monitoring the situation since Friday and throughout the weekend, remaining in close communication with local school and district leaders in both Carroll County and Montgomery County. We continue to offer support as they navigate this difficult time.
We are grateful to the first responders and emergency personnel who responded and continue to assist those impacted. We defer to local authorities for specific details.
