Across the continent: North Africa continues to lead with countries like Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia approaching universal access. In West and Central Africa, countries like Ghana and Gabon are making strong strides. Southern Africa is represented by South Africa and Eswatini, maintaining high levels of electrification. And in East Africa, Rwanda stands out, rapidly expanding access and pushing toward universal electricity through both grid and off-grid solutions. This is not just about power. It's about opportunity, productivity, education, and dignity. Africa is not waiting, it is building.
