Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I think what’s got a lot of fans back up about Robbo is the way he left.
I don’t think anyone can begrudge Robbo for moving. A bigger salary at a bigger club was obviously too much to turn down as it would be for most.
But, there was no message from him about his time at the club. No reflection on his time with us.
He could have done a short video or wrote out a message for the club to post on socials. A thank you to the fans and his staff.
But no, nothing.
Upped sticks at a time the club needed him most and that was it.
He shook hands with our players at the end today as if he’d never met them.
This comes across as very, very bitter imo.
