कतिपय सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर जनपद में घटित महिला संबंधी आपराधिक घटना को जातीय रंग देकर भ्रामक नैरेटिव प्रसारित किया जा रहा है, जो पूर्णतः तथ्यहीन एवं वास्तविकता से परे है। जनपद पुलिस द्वारा पीड़िता की लिखित शिकायत प्राप्त होते ही तत्काल अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया एवं दो अभियुक्तों को 6 घंटे में गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जबकि फरार अभियुक्त की गिरफ्तारी हेतु ₹50,000 का पुरस्कार घोषित किया गया है तथा पुलिस टीमें निरंतर प्रयासरत हैं। पुलिस कार्रवाई जाति, वर्ग अथवा समुदाय से निरपेक्ष होकर अपराध की गंभीरता, उपलब्ध साक्ष्यों एवं विधिक प्रावधानों के आधार पर की जाती है। उक्त प्रकरण में भी निष्पक्ष एवं कठोर वैधानिक कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जा रही है। चूंकि कतिपय व्यक्ति इस आपराधिक घटना को भ्रामक नैरेटिव देकर जातीय वैमनस्य उत्पन्न करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं, अतः तथ्यात्मक स्पष्टता के लिए यह उल्लेख करना आवश्यक है कि पीड़िता एवं अभियुक्तगण पिछड़ी जाति से संबंधित हैं। आमजन से अपील है कि अपुष्ट, भ्रामक अथवा भड़काऊ सूचनाओं को प्रसारित न करें। दोषियों के विरुद्ध कठोर वैधानिक कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी।
