Saltire Energy Rugby Schools Week kicked off this week with the East Emerging Schools Championships 🏆 Giving boys from S1 and S2 the opportunity to play against other schools from across the East and test themselves against different opposition. Montrose Rugby Club and Montrose Academy maintain a strong partnership between school and club 🏉 With more than 120 pupils currently involved in the Rugby Achievement Programme (RAP). Since its origin, the RAP has continued to grow and now includes pupils from S1 through to S5. Fergus from @TynecastleHigh and Kodie + Thomas from @CashBackScot @WHHS_Edin represented Edinburgh u18s schools select, contributing to a win against Falkirk schools select! 🎉In a fine representation off state schools rugby in the central belt 👏🏉

Regional gameplay began in March with Ollie from @TynecastleHigh and Patrick from @CashBackScot @WHHS_Edin representing Edinburgh U16s in three matches 👏🙌 Further 6 boys from @TynecastleHigh (PDH u15s and U16s) involved in regional rugby in March = setting a RECORD at Tynie!💪

On the other end of our programme the S3 @CashBackScot @WHHS_Edin school rugby team played two fixtures vs @stewmel_academy C's in March. Stew Mel won it on aggregate score but we are extremely proud of the S3 group who have come on leaps n' bounds since S1! 💪Check this out! 👇
