The National Capital Region Police Office has been placed on full alert status as thousands of families leave Metro Manila for holy week vacation, says NCRPO top cop PMGen Anthony Aberin. “NCRPO has deployed more than 13,000 personnel across key areas to deter opportunistic crimes that typically rise during peak travel periods. These include theft, robbery, akyat-bahay, snatching, and online fraud,” says Aberin.
