🇮🇱🇱🇧 Israel is reportedly bulldozing solar panels and water stations in Debel, a Christian village in southern Lebanon, during an active ceasefire.
No Hezbollah presence. Just civilian infrastructure being systematically erased.
The buffer zone is being cleared regardless of what the ceasefire says on paper.

@jacknassar33 @theafroaussie Here is my Christian great grandfather and his family in the 1930s, in front of their home in Jerusalem which was stolen in 1948 and lived in by Golda Meir. My family traces back to Nablus in the 1500s, and now none live in Palestine, and that is because of Zionism

Read this detailed account from @ZeinakhodrAljaz of the sequence of events leading to the killing of Leb journalist Amal Khalil. Her editors; Leb Pres; Red Cross, were all informed and appealed for help. The Israeli military bombed her shelter anyway then prevented her rescue for hours, attacking the ambulance crews. Targeting journalists and first responders is a heinous breach of int law - no matter their affiliation, no matter it was inside Israeli-occupied land. Leb PM is demanding accountability and calls her killing a ‘blatant war crime’

Israel didn't just kill Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil; they hunted her down and dropped grenades on the medics who tried to save her.
In other news, Europe - in its infinite moral void - voted against imposing even minor consequences on Israel for its countless war crimes.

After Israel struck a car in front of her, killing two people, Amal Khalil and her colleague Zeinab Faraj, took shelter in a nearby building. Israel “specifically targeted the home where they took refuge.” Zeinab was injured but survived the strike, Amal was killed. Lebanese Red Cross arrived to rescue Amal and Khalil and others, but an Israeli drone dropped a grenade on the medics, and fired at their ambulance, forcing them to withdraw for hours. ^^^ all per Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Astonishing claims in the House of Parliament. SIR Gerald Kaufman, the veteran Labour MP, compared the actions of Israeli troops in Gaza to the Nazis who forced his family to flee Poland.
During a Commons debate on the fighting in Gaza, he urged the government to impose an arms embargo on Israel.
Sir Gerald, who was brought up as an orthodox Jew and Zionist, said: "My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town a German soldier shot her dead in her bed.
"My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza. The present Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the continuing guilt from gentiles over the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust as justification for their murder of Palestinians."
He said the claim that many of the Palestinian victims were militants "was the reply of the Nazi" and added: "I suppose the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto could have been dismissed as militants."
He accused the Israeli government of seeking "conquest" and added: "They are not simply war criminals, they are fools."
This was in 2009 when the truth could still be spoken in the UK Parliament

Piers Morgan just read the Haaretz investigation. IDF soldiers shot an unarmed old man and three boys. Their bodies were riddled with bullets. The battalion commander spat on them and yelled, 'This is what happens.' In another incident, a tank fired hundreds of rounds at five Palestinians crossing a line. Four were killed. A bulldozer buried them in the sand. Gideon Levy, the Israeli journalist, said: 'This is not exceptions. This is the occupation. You cannot occupy for decades and remain human. What will make people realize we are growing monsters in front of our eyes?

Amal Khalil, a Lebanese journalist, was targeted today by the IDF in South Lebanon, together with other colleagues. Two were killed, one injured and Amal is still under the rubble. The Red Cross tried to extract her but they were targeted too by the Israelis and had to retreat.
