RLUSD is the best stablecoin. Its the best on ramp of institutions to the XRP Ledger, is integrated across their product stack from Treasury to Prime. Two main reasons:
1) Ripple has a massive balance sheet. In the unlikely event of an emergency like it happened with SVB and USDC, Ripple can backstop and guarantee 1:1 peg with their balance sheet.
Up to a degree of course, with 1-2B RLUSD market cap that's very effective.
In a scenario where RLUSD hits 100B market cap then the amount Ripple could cover goes down ofc.
2) Ripple established a Trust for RLUSD via Standard Custody & Trust, a limited purpose trust chartered by NYDFS.
Trust law has legal precedent for asset segregation. In the very very unlikely event of Ripple going bankrupt, the backing of your RLUSD can't be touched by Ripple, it’s legally separate by design.
Other large stablecoin issuers like Circle stated their money transmitter structure hasn’t been tested in court for stablecoins. They themselves admitted in their SEC prospectus that there’s "not complete certainty" around holder claims in a bankruptcy scenario.
1) and 2) makes RLUSD the best stablecoin option for any institution managing treasuries and liquidity on chain, highly regulated and supported by Ripples balance sheet.

🚨NEW: The @CFTC is taking Illinois and @GovPritzker to court, arguing the state overstepped by trying to block prediction market platforms it says fall under exclusive federal oversight.
It’s also suing Arizona and Connecticut over similar efforts.
This marks the latest escalation in the fight over who controls prediction markets, Washington or the states, and the first time the agency has used legal action to assert jurisdiction.
“The CFTC will continue to safeguard its exclusive regulatory authority over these markets and defend market participants against overzealous state regulators,” said CFTC @ChairmanSelig.
