I’m ashamed of the big Hip Hop media outlets. When Donald Trump tried to silence Jimmy Kimmel of free speech, Jimmy’s culture backed him up immediately and started speaking out while canceling their Disney subscriptions as a way to exercise their rights. Drake is attempting to silence free speech in Hip Hop yet a lot of the pioneers, OGs, and big Hip Hop media platforms are silent and complacent. They’re willing to let a foreigner tear down the very art form that saved their lives, changed their families lives, and provided a way for them to get out of the ghetto. All because they are scared to be honest and would rather victimize someone that’s willing to burn it all down than to take a stand. Cowards.
