There were Chinese studies early in the year in 2020 February that said that covid hung in the air and was passed on to someone on a bus 30 mins after the infectious person left I acted accordingly, the government did not and are still not

it’s incredibly blackpilling to me that it takes rising gas prices and rising gas prices alone to have people turn against the war in iran, and not the american government murdering thousands of children and civilians in iran. americans are incredibly selfish

There is a seriousness of helium waste most people don't seem to comprehend. We can't make helium, there's no chemistry we can do - it's incredibly rare on Earth.
Eric Feigl-Ding@DrEricDing

FUN FACT—helium cools the superconducting magnets in more than 14,000 MRI machines used in hospitals worldwide. We lost the largest helium extraction plant in the world in Qatar. US reserves running low. Helium cannot be produced de novo. Any helium escape is permanent.

Huh? FIFA is rejecting calls to ban Israel by saying "the final legal status of the West Bank remains an unresolved & highly complex matter under public international law." …But in 2024, the International Court of Justice ruled Israel's occupation of the West Bank is illegal.

It was the Americans who escalated this war of aggression against Iran every step of the way. The Americans struck one Iranian civilian infrastructure after another, betting on retaliatory strikes to further escalate the war. The Americans don’t give a damn about the impact on their Arab vassals or Israel. They don’t give a damn about their European and Asian vassals either. America’s Ponzi economy has already collapsed and they hope to blow up the world’s economy to bring the world down to its level. The US itself is oil and LNG self sufficient. Blowing up the world is how America stays on top. This is the American Way.
🇦🇪 Rashid bin Saeed : راشد بن سعيد@BinsaeedRashid

🚨🚨🚨 IRAN JUST HIT THE WORLD'S LNG HUB. HERE IS EVERY COUNTRY THAT IS NOW SCREWED. One missile hit Ras Laffan, Qatar last night. 12.8 million tons of LNG per year just disappeared from the global supply chain for 3 to 5 years. Here's who gets hit hardest: 🇶🇦 Qatar — lost 17% of all LNG export capacity overnight. $20 billion in annual revenue gone. 🇩🇪 Germany — 14% of Europe's LNG comes from Qatar. Already paid the price after Russia. Now this. 🇫🇷 France — TTF gas futures up 35% today. Heating bills going up before next winter. 🇬🇧 UK — European gas prices surged 35% in one day. Energy inflation is back. 🇮🇳 India — 60% of LNG imports came from Qatar and UAE in 2025. Can only replace about half. 🇯🇵 Japan — one of Qatar's biggest LNG buyers. Now competing against Europe for whatever's left. 🇰🇷 South Korea — same situation as Japan. Emergency diversification in progress. 🇨🇳 China — gets a third of its oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Now EFFECTIVELY CLOSED. 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia — Iran hit a Saudi refinery the same night. Their own energy infrastructure under attack. 🇦🇪 UAE — shut down their own gas facilities pre-emptively after Iran's threats. Self-imposed disruption. 🇰🇼 Kuwait — two refineries on fire after Iranian strikes. 🇺🇸 USA — its companies are the ONLY winners. US LNG exports are now the last alternative for the entire world. 🇷🇺 Russia — Power of Siberia 2 pipeline to China just became 10x more critical. Putin is watching and smiling. 12 countries. One missile. Three to five years of pain. RT before this gets buried by the algorithm.

Known from day one of the pandemic: surgical masks are not PPE. The thing that affected so many of us was trying to comprehend the bone-headed stupidity, the belligerent murderousness, which kept pushing them as suitable PPE. It has completely changed the way we now look at the world, and not for the better.
Cat in the Hat 🐈‍⬛ 🎩 🇬🇧@_CatintheHat

Hot off the press, here’s the relevant extract in today’s Covid Inquiry report about the protection from different masks: 😷 Surgical masks: Designed to protect others but do NOT protect the wearer. 😷 FFP masks: Fit closely to the face & protect from both droplets & aerosols.

This is true. Attaining herd immunity to a deadly disease is no longer globally attainable for strictly ideological reasons. If something as deadly as, say, Ebola ever breaks out it will rip through the human population worse than the black plague did in the Middle Ages.
Joth@jothwip

It wasn't because of technology alone that Smallpox was eradicated, it was an extensive worldwide multi government programme that required a level of organisation that doesn't happen on the global scale anymore. Without that, tech is useless

If a monkey hoarded more bananas than it could eat while others starved, scientists would study it to understand what the fuck was wrong with it. Scientists would then watch as all the other monkeys took turns beating that one monkey to death with sticks.

The data center debate isn’t really about data centers for me. It’s about 850 residents — nearly 1% of the entire county — showing up to a planning and zoning meeting, speaking for 10 hours until 4:39 a.m., making their voices overwhelmingly heard. And yet commissioners are already on record saying they support it before the vote even happens. You can disagree with your constituents. But you can’t treat public input like background noise. That’s not governance, it’s arrogance.
KMOV@KMOV

Hundreds of people filled a Union High School gymnasium Tuesday night to speak out against two proposed data center projects that would rezone agricultural land for industrial use in Franklin County. firstalert4.com/2026/03/18/fra…

Spain just fined the age verification company governments are forcing you to use €950,000 for GDPR violations. Biometric data retained too long, geolocation data kept for five years, fraud documents repurposed to train their AI. The infrastructure being built to "protect children" is already failing basic legal privacy requirements...

Israel has just bombed Iran's largest natural gas processing facility in Bushehr Province. Israel stated that it conducted this attack in full coordination with the United States. The attack is consistent with Israel's strategy of aiming to destroy not only Iran's military and military industries, but also its industrial base and its economy. Israel's objective is not regime change but state collapse. In this particular case there is I believe an additional motivation behind the Israeli attack. Iran has repeatedly indicated that if its energy infrastructure is attacked, this crosses a bright red line and that it will retaliate with attacks on energy infrastructure throughout the Persian Gulf. If Iran does indeed respond in this manner, the prospects of direct participation in this war by Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states increases significantly. This is exactly what Israel would like to see, and would also explain why the US, which previously counselled against such attacks, now supports them and participates in their execution. This attack is not only a demonstration of US-Israeli capabilities, but also of US-Israeli strategic failure and arguably of growing desperation as well.

Is the media incapable of reporting on more than one atrocity at a time? We're starving Cuba, allowing Israel to blow up apartment buildings full of innocent people in Lebanon, helping to decimate Iran & blowing up kids in their school, allowing Israel to complete the genocide in Gaza to make way for luxury developments, and quietly cutting off aid to Ukraine. I feel like not reporting on most of this is by design, right?

Until yesterday, we were assured the U.S. was leaving Iran's energy infrastructure untouched to prevent escalation or more global energy shocks. Iran pledged to wipe out the Gulf's energy if its own was attacked. Today, the U.S. and Israel bombed Iran's natural gas facilities.

I don't think enough people understand that you can carry meningitis bacteria in your nose and throat and *not get ill*. It's only when the bacteria invade the body, entering the bloodstream or reaching the brain and spinal cord, that it gets very serious very quickly. So what makes people more vulnerable to invasive meningococcal disease? There are several recognised risk factors, but one is impaired immune function, including low lymphocyte levels such as reduced CD4 T cells. And we all know by now what can cause those reduced CD4 levels don't we? Yes. Covid infection. This is all *established science*. It's not new. All this blather in the papers about vapes and kissing. That's misdirection. The blather about lockdowns reducing cases? That's misdirection too. This disease is about *vulnerability*. Even a *temporary* drop in lymphocytes can make you vulnerable. I'm fed up with all the people diverting attention away from that.

We all watched parents collect the remains of their children in plastic bags, xrays of bullets lodged in the skulls of children, starved aidseekers mowed down by machine gun fire, EVERYDAY FOR TWO YEARS. The whole world witnessed this GENOCIDE you sick twisted bastards, and your denialism is shameful and telling.
American Jewish Committee@AJCGlobal

Mayor Mamdani’s repeated use of the “genocide” accusation against Israel is not just wrong - it’s dangerous. It distorts reality and fuels antisemitism at a moment when Jews are already under threat.

Leaders who claim to stand for human rights should not use rhetoric that puts Jewish communities at risk. timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry…

Everyone is now outraged that Iran retaliated after a terrorist attack on its petrochemical infrastructure, carried out by a genocidal regime backed by a madman in Washington. Their outrage amounts to an admission that they expected the Islamic Republic to be the adult in the room. They never expected restraint, rationality, or basic responsibility from Trump or from the genocidal extremists running the Israeli regime. They know full well that neither DC nor Tel Aviv can be counted on for reason or self-restraint. They will never admit it, because doing so would expose the hypocrisy at the core of their position. But that is exactly what they think: that Iran is the only actor expected to absorb attacks in silence, while the others are treated as too deranged, too violent and too lawless to be held to the same standard. All we have now is massive insecurity for everyone, and everyone is responsible for it.

We literally have an intelligence community of 18 agencies whose job is to determine the threats and make a recommendation that any sane President would follow. Instead we launched a war on Iran because Trump just had a vibe they would have a bomb in two weeks. This isn’t funny. Americans have died. Thousands of Iranians are dead. All because Trump just felt like it?
Acyn@Acyn

Ossoff: Was it the assessment of the intelligence community that there was an imminent nuclear threat posed by the Iranian regime? Gabbard: The only person who can determine what is and is not an imminent threat is the president. It is not the intelligence community's responsibility to determine what is and is not an imminent threat. Ossoff: It is precisely your responsibility. This is the worldwide threats hearing where, as you noted in your opening testimony quote, you represent the ic's assessment of threats.
