Among Africa's 20 most populous cities in 2026, four (Lagos, Kano, Abuja, and Ibadan) are in Nigeria, more than in any other country. Lagos stands out, ranking third in Africa with about 17.8 million people and 14th globally. This concentration highlights that Nigeria’s population growth is not merely national but deeply urban, with its major cities becoming among Africa’s most important economic and social centres. Outside Nigeria, the population is concentrated in a few major hubs. Cairo leads Africa with 23.5 million residents, followed by Kinshasa at 18.6 million. These cities, along with Lagos, form a small group of African megacities that now compete in size with major urban centres worldwide. However, after this top tier, there is a sharp drop. Many cities in the top 20 have populations between 4 and 7 million.

China electricity generation is still growing super fast, with solar being the largest incremental contributor, and will exceed America by a factor of 3X either this year or next
X Freeze@XFreeze

The scale of China's energy grid is insanely large and highly increasing In 2025, they held 33.2% of the global electricity generation more than double the USA (~14.2%) That's 1/3 of the worlds capacity Then the rest of the World combined ends up with 52.6% An absolute dominant force in global power generation

If you follow the story of Okonkwo in Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, you’ll understand the culture and how much value is placed on money and how, without it, you are essentially nobody. In fact, culturally leadership ans chieftaincy titles are not hereditary or democratic but rather based on who holds more cash, REGARDLESS! 🤣🤣🤣

When I heard Senator Kevin Cramer say, "The Christians in Nigeria today are probably feeling pretty good about Donald Trump's position", I decided I had to let him understand a few things. The Halifax International Security Forum's audience certainly enjoyed this one.

Good morning, and congratulations to all NIGERIANS who stand firm against the US junta . The world has heard our voice never give up and keep pushing . Leave those Ibo'sAnimals losers . They can't do anything in Nigeria without allowing them. Everyone knows American soldiers have been in Chad since 2019 / 2024, but the Bokoharam terrorist are very much more active then than now. What did US soldiers do to counter them ? Nothing! We are not all gullible like Ibo'sAnimals losers who war killed all their ancestors and parents like rat.
