Here's what you need to know. ↓
1. Dusk Connect
With Dusk Connect, developers no longer need custom code for specific wallets. The SDK includes:
Automatic wallet discovery
Wallets surface via EIP-6963 without manual config.
Core dApp actions built in
Account access, signing, transactions, and network helpers.
Familiar, namespaced RPC
Methods like dusk_requestAccounts and dusk_signMessage, clean of EVM collisions.
Lightweight by design
Zero runtime dependencies.
Predictable wallet behavior
Conformance tests enforce spec parity across implementations.
2. Dusk Wallet
The new Dusk Wallet is available as a browser extension, desktop app, and mobile app, built around Dusk Connect.
dApps can plug in directly to request accounts, ask users to sign, submit transactions, and handle permissions through a familiar wallet flow.
Users get full Dusk functionality in one wallet:
- public and private transfers
- shield/unshield
- staking and reward claiming
- DRC-20 and DRC-721 assets
- dApp permissions
- and local key storage.
With these, developer experience on Dusk is closer to the standards devs already know.

Europe should avoid making one of two mistakes. One mistake is to copy crypto market structure into finance and import the current fragmentation, weak legal anchoring and infrastructure built for speculation rather than regulated markets. The other is reacting by rebuilding everything as closed, over-centralized infrastructure controlled by a few incumbents, with openness and interoperability treated as something optional and implemented opaquely. The real opportunity is to build something better. Common standards, strong interoperability, clear legal boundaries and compliance that doesn't assume total data exposure is the only way to create trust. That also means avoiding systems where each institution gets its own silo and simple coordination between black boxes is presented as interoperability.

Tokenization and native issuance solve different problems.
The difference comes down to where the asset actually lives, who holds it, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Tokenization:
- The bond still sits with a custodian
- The token is a representation that tracks it
- If the custodian fails, the token is a claim on a broken process
Every tokenized asset needs reconciliation between the onchain record and the off-chain reality → settlement depends on intermediaries → reporting means cross-referencing two systems.
The wrapper adds a layer. It does not remove one.
Native issuance:
- The asset is created onchain as the legal record
- Settlement is atomic, custody is protocol-level
- Corporate actions execute in code, no reconciliation required
Dusk is built for native issuance. The protocol handles issuance, settlement, and corporate actions natively.
NPEX, an AFM-regulated exchange, is pursuing the DLT-TSS license to natively issue securities on Dusk.
Native issuance is how markets come onchain.

One of @DuskFoundation’s biggest edges is how tightly we work with @NPEX. We are rebuilding their full existing exchange infrastructure from the ground up with them.
That gives us direct exposure to real market structure, exchange operations and infrastructure constraints inside a regulated venue. Very few projects in this space get that close to a real MTF, and even fewer earn the trust to rebuild core infrastructure with one.

A public blockchain shows everyone every transaction.
That doesn't work for regulated finance.
Dusk's privacy model solves this with three primitives.
Notes. Proofs. Selective disclosure.
1. Notes, first.
Your assets and data live inside private notes, not in a shared public ledger. The model is called Phoenix. A note is a sealed record only you can open.
Others see that a note exists. They don't see what's in it.
2. Notes communicate through proofs.
When you spend a note, you produce a zero-knowledge proof that the rules were followed without revealing the note's contents.
The network verifies the proof. The data stays private.
3. Selective disclosure closes the loop.
You can reveal the contents of a note, or specific fields, to a specific party. An auditor, a counterparty, a regulator.
Privacy by default. Disclosure on demand.
