According to Tippecanoe Valley, the Jimtown-Valley Class 3A football sectional semifinal game will begin at 7:30 on Friday in Akron.

My condolences to the family of Stan Hite in Plymouth. Stan's brother Mike and I were friends and teammates for years and I know how close the family is. Prayers for all of you.

Lost in the angst of the Penn-Mishawaka game going away for a few years is the fact that tonight is the last regular-season football game at Elkhart Memorial High School. A lot of players current and past have given there all there and tonight should be a celebration of them.

Just over an hour before people not born in Indiana start to whine about seeding... 😀

Sorry to hear about the death of Hall of Fame official Dick Freeman. Officiated football, basketball and baseball and I remember him as always being fair. I once looked back at him while hitting after a strike call and he winked and said, I owe you one. Never forgot that.
