NEW: Iowa Women's Basketball will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Their 26-6 record was plenty to earn hosting honors for the fifth time in six non-covid seasons. I'll have a full Selection Sunday preview out tomorrow morning.

Jan Jensen, one of the coaches on our Werner Ladder Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year Watch List, is constantly bringing intensity every game. In just her second year as head coach, she has helped extend Iowa’s streak to nine straight 20 win seasons. Jensen also became just the third coach in Iowa women’s basketball history to record 20+ wins in her first season.
