When Neil Gorsuch tried for 2 years to sell his $1.8M property with no luck, but only 9 days after getting confirmed to the Supreme Court, sold it to a lawyer with multiple cases before SCOTUS, then failed to disclose the buyer’s identity - there’s a stench on the bench.

I Lost my wallet in Tokyo. Like completely lost it. I had all my cards, my cash, everything. I was freaking out. Went back to every place I'd been that day. Nothing. Went to the police station to file a report, not expecting anything. The officer asked for my name and address where I was staying. Went to check the lost and found. I came back with my wallet. Everything is still in it. All the cash, all the cards, even receipts I didn't care about. I was shocked. Asked where it was found. He checked the report and said "Family Mart, Shibuya. Turned in by an employee 20 minutes after you left." I went back to that Family Mart to thank whoever found it. The employee who turned it in wasn't there, but his coworker said he'll pass along the message. I asked what the person's name was so I could come back. The coworker looked confused and said "he doesn't need thanks. It is normal to return a wallet." Like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Of course you return a lost wallet. Why wouldn't you? I'd been living in the US too long, I guess. Forgot that some places, doing the right thing is just... normal.

On August 15, 1991, an 8-year-old child was kidnapped by a stranger in Plano, Texas while walking with a friend to their community pool. The child was sexually abused by the stranger over the course of several hours before being released 20 miles away from her home. Despite Plano PD's best investigative efforts, the case went cold. The evidence that had been collected was maintained at SWIFS in Dallas, Texas. In 2004, a DNA profile for the perpetrator was developed and then put into CODIS. While a suspect had not been identified, the profile matched an unsolved case in Dallas, Texas. In this particular case, a 9-year-old child was kidnapped and sexually assaulted before being released approximately 40 miles away from her home. In 2023, Plano PD Detective Benzick came across a newspaper article about the case and reached out to Dallas PD Detective DeAngelis. After discussing the case, they decided to put in the hard work required to solve a case largely utilizing Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy. This technique required Detective Benzick to interview countless individuals and obtain numerous DNA profiles to develop a suspect. At the same time, Detective DeAngelis had to work through massive amounts of evidence collected from the offense in order to find viable sources of suspect DNA. Once the suspect was identified, the pieces began to fall into place. An individual by the name of Nicholas Carney, was living in the Dallas area at the time of the offenses. He also drove the vehicles described by the children and matched the description forensic sketch artists compiled from their statements. Additional investigative work and evidence led to confirming Carney was indeed the suspect they had been looking for. He was eventually arrested and convicted of these heinous crimes, and as of January 15, 2026, will be serving life in prison. When detectives first started working these cases, the victims had already given up hope they would ever be solved. However, thanks to the outstanding investigative work of Dallas PD's and Plano PD's very own Detective DeAngelis, & Benzick, the cases were officially put to rest. On behalf of the victims, their families, and our office, we want to thank Detectives DeAngelis and Benzick for seeing justice served, putting an end to these atrocious crimes, and helping every affected individual find closure. **Detective DeAngelis was a awarded the Super Sleuth Award during the annual Collin County Crime Victims Luncheon, on April 22, 2026.** — Dallas Police Department

Uhm, maybe because it’s illegal? Federal statute 18 U.S.C. § 592 prohibits deploying “troops or armed men” to locations where elections are held, to prevent interference or intimidation. You’d think an acting Attorney General would know this.

A team of four Swedish athletes were running one of the toughest endurance races in the world, six days on foot, on bikes and in kayaks, through 700 kilometres of jungle in Ecuador. They were near the front of the pack. At one of the rest stops, deep in the forest, their captain, a man named Mikael Lindnord, sat down to eat. A skinny street dog with open wounds on his back was watching him. Lindnord tossed him a canned meatball and walked on. The dog followed. He followed them for the next three days, through mud, through rivers, up mountains, through the dark of the jungle at night. The team kept stopping to make sure he could keep up, to share their food with him, to clean his wounds. Slowly they slipped from near the lead to near the back. When they reached the final stretch, a long paddle down a river, officials told them the dog couldn’t come in the kayaks for his own safety. The team pushed off without him. Behind them came a splash. The dog had jumped in and was swimming after them. Lindnord turned his kayak around, lifted him in, and wrapped him in his jacket. They crossed the finish line near the back. Lindnord later said, “There was something bigger in taking care of this dog than winning.” He named him Arthur, took him home to Sweden, and they stayed together for the next six years.

I asked the president why focus on these projects now amid the backdrop of the war in Iran and as gas prices soar. He said the question was “stupid” and a “disgrace to the country” saying he’s “fixing” the reflecting pool.

Reporter: Why focus on all these projects as gas prices are soaring? Trump: Such a stupid question. You can understand dirt better than I can baby but I don’t allow it.

Murray: Is it true that people making under $184,000 pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? Dahl: Yes Murray: And the rate for someone making $1,000,000? Dahl: 2.2% Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184,000, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.
