Would go so far as to say a lot of stuff that's technically "adult" from a marketing or subject-matter perspective *is* functionally for fourteen-year-olds who are looking to expand their horizons

I love Digimon & Gundam, but having franchise titles take up 1/3 of the 'Best Original Anime' category shows how dire the Crunchyroll Anime Awards are.

Zone of the Enders: Perfect Collection brings back the anime based on the classic Konami video games. The mech action is solid & the drama is framed a bit different with some great characters. mediaocd.com/product-page/z…

The Idolo OVA is a nice remaster. The TV series is a solid upscale of digital SD animation. Both have the classic dub & original Japanese audio in stereo. Idolo also has English 5.1 Subtitles have been gone over to match the game translations better. A few screenshot examples.
