India Reportedly Asks Canada to Deny Nick Shirley Entry—Reasons Unclear India has reportedly asked Canada to deny entry to American content creator Nick Shirley. No clear reason has been provided. You do not have to call the ASFCP to officially withdraw from the program - just simply do not confirm your intent to turn in your firearms. 3. You are under ZERO legal obligation to turn in any declared firearms (even if you declared them) - you can change your mind before surrendering anything. 4. Of course, the government will know about any previously non-restricted firearms you declared, so you need to have a "compliance plan" worked out for yourself before the end of the amnesty on Oct 30, 2026. 5. There are multiple ways to comply other than participating in the ASFCP confiscation program. 6. Compensation is not guaranteed under the program - each firearm must still be received and verified. 7. Problems with verification = surrender of the firearms (none will be returned), and likely $0 or significantly reduced compensation with no appeal mechanism. 8. The Supreme Court will eventually hear an appeal, and I would be surprised if the amnesty is not extended by 1-2 years while litigation is pending. So make your decisions accordingly. Don't get "baited" into ranting about non-compliance - as this will be used against us by the anti-gun lobby. Do nothing. Say nothing, Wait, contribute and support the efforts with your voice, your wallet, and your votes!
