Kim Iverson and CHD CEO Mary Holland question why parents aren’t given full choice when it comes to vaccinating their children. Kim Iverson: “The pediatricians are suing saying… we would actually have to talk to the parents rather than just injecting their kids… without really their consent.” “I think it’s totally reasonable to give a parent 2 months to decide whether or not they want to inject their kid with this rather than the very first day.” “The first thing you do is inject them with some foreign substance that doesn’t belong in their body.” Mary Holland: “They don’t get real informed consent, Kim.” “The pediatricians negotiated that they don’t have to give the parents complete information.” “They give them a one-page information statement that says vaccines are safe and effective.” “And there’s no ability to sue the manufacturer or the doctor if something goes wrong.” @maryhollandnyc

Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pizzaballa: “This  Palm Sunday afternoon, we gather without a procession, without palms waving through the streets. Rather than endlessly debating who isn't paying "enough" in taxes, we must turn our attention to a more fundamental question: exactly where is all this money going? Year after year, tax revenues climb to record highs, yet deficits balloon and the national debt keeps piling up. This isn't just a revenue problem; it's a glaring fraud problem. Billions spent on waste and fraud, we need a no-holds-barred audit of spending priorities, slashing waste, eliminating redundancies, and refocusing on core government responsibilities, which could deliver far better results for everyday citizens without perpetually raising the tax burden on families and businesses. Real fiscal health starts with transparency about outflows, not just louder demands on inflows.

Statement regarding Mrs. Carrie Prejean Boller   In recent days, I have become aware of the removal of Mrs. Carrie Prejean Boller from the Presidential Religious Liberty Commission, along with the public accusations that have followed. After reviewing her account and the circumstances surrounding this matter, I believe it is necessary to speak plainly.   Ms. Boller has been treated unjustly.   A Catholic woman, speaking from a well-formed conscience and in fidelity to the teachings of the Church, has been publicly criticized and removed – yet no clear, substantiated reason has been provided. Such a lack of transparency does not serve justice. It damages reputations and undermines trust.   More troubling still is the apparent cause: that she raised legitimate questions about Zionism and defended the simple truth that Catholics are not bound to any political ideology.   Let me be clear.   The Catholic Church does not teach that the modern State of Israel holds a divine mandate that must be supported by all believers. Nor does the Church teach that opposition to political Zionism is inherently antisemitic. These are not doctrines of the Catholic faith.   At the same time, the Church unequivocally rejects all hatred toward the Jewish people. Every human person is to be loved, defended, and treated with dignity. But this truth must not be distorted. To question the policies or actions of a modern nation – any nation – is not hatred. It is a moral responsibility when innocent life is at stake.   We are witnessing great suffering in the Holy Land. Innocent men, women, and children – especially in Gaza – have endured immense devastation. To speak on behalf of human life, wherever it is threatened, is not political extremism. It is fidelity to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   Mrs. Boller did what many are now afraid to do: she spoke.   She spoke for Catholics who are increasingly pressured to conform to political narratives that do not reflect the fullness of our faith. She spoke to ensure that antisemitism is not wrongly conflated with legitimate moral concern. She spoke for the dignity of all human life – Jew and Palestinian alike.   For this, she has been mischaracterized.   It is especially disheartening when such treatment appears to come, in part, from those within the Church who should be the first to defend the faithful when they speak truthfully and in good conscience. Shepherds are called to protect, not to abandon; to clarify, not to confuse; to stand with the sheep, especially when they are under attack.   Silence in the face of injustice is not prudence. It is a failure of charity and truth. Therefore, I express my support for Mrs. Carrie Prejean Boller.   I affirm her right, as a Catholic and as an American, to speak clearly about matters of faith, morality, and public life without being unjustly labeled or removed without explanation. I also call for greater clarity and fairness from those responsible for her removal, so that truth – not speculation – may prevail.   This moment calls for courage.   Not political courage, but Christian courage – the kind that stands firmly in truth while remaining rooted in charity. We must reject hatred in all its forms, but we must also reject the misuse of that charge to silence those who speak in defense of life and moral truth.   Let us pray for peace in the Holy Land – for Jews, for Palestinians, and for all who suffer. And let us pray for the Church, that she may always speak with clarity, charity, and unwavering fidelity to Jesus Christ, who is the Truth.   In Christ, Bishop Joseph E. Strickland

🔥 THE SECRET BEHIND THE SIGN OF THE CROSS THAT MOST CHRISTIANS NEVER THINK ABOUT ✝️ ✝️ It is the most repeated gesture in Christianity… Yet many do it without ever asking where it came from. But this sign is older than most people realize. ✝️ It did not begin in modern Catholic practice The earliest Christians were already marking themselves with the cross long before Christianity became accepted in the Roman Empire. One early witness is Tertullian in the third century, who described Christians tracing the sign of the cross on their foreheads in daily life and worship. This shows something important… It was already a living tradition, not a new invention. ✝️ It was a hidden language of faith In times of persecution, Christians used the sign of the cross as a quiet but powerful confession. Without speaking loudly, they were declaring: “I belong to Christ.” ✝️ The Church preserved what the apostles handed on Early Christian leaders like Augustine of Hippo testified that this practice was already received tradition in the Church, passed down from earlier believers. It was not created later. It was preserved. ✝️ But there is a deeper meaning most people miss The sign of the cross is not just a ritual. It is a summary of the entire Gospel: Christ suffered Christ died Christ rose Christ reigns ✝️ Every time you make it, something happens You are not just repeating a gesture. You are declaring ownership: “My life belongs to God.” ✝️ This is why it still matters today In a distracted world, this simple sign is a reminder that faith is not hidden in the mind alone… It is expressed in the body. ✝️ So the next time you make it Do not rush it. Remember what you are saying. Remember who you belong to. Credit: Ignatius Catholicum.

IMPERATOR
IMPERATOR@IMPERATORAUS·
In his Summa Theologiae, St Thomas Aquinas laid out one of the most charitable yet practical arguments concerning immigration that effectively shaped the West for almost 1,000 years. 1. Immigration must always be proportionate so that foreigners can properly assimilate into the culture and mode of worship of the state. 2. Citizenship – and associated rights – should only ever be granted after the third generation to preserve the culture, mode of worship, and constitution of the state. 3. The common good of the citizens must remain the highest priority of the state, meaning, the state's obligation to provide aid to its neighbours can never be at the expense of the citizens. However, Aquinas ends with the sobering reminder that some peoples and states are incompatible with one another, and these must be held as "foes in perpetuity".

Keeping Blessed Palm in Our Home We take our palms home, and reverently place them behind our crucifix; and we would do well to use the palms of all the members of our family, placing them in the living room, the kitchen, the bedrooms, the garden — in any place where we pass our time — that they may remain there throughout the year. Why should we do that? Because at the end of the procession the priest says this prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, our King and Redeemer, we have carried these branches and sung solemn praises in Thy honor. Graciously let Thy grace and blessing rest wherever these branches are brought; with the power of Thy right hand defeat every evil influence and deception of the devil while granting Thy protection to those whom Thou hast redeemed; who are living and reigning with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen." The palms are not instruments of magic; they are not like superstitious amulets supposed to possess any power or virtue of their own; but they are the visible signs of the powerful prayer of God's Church which calls down the blessing of God upon all the places where they are put. We who have faith in the Church should have faith in her prayers, and make use of their power to our sanctification and protection. (Excerpted from Preparing for Easter by Clifford Howell, S.J.)

Palm Sunday Holy Week begins with the triumphal entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem, but with what meekness! With the same meekness, He, the true King, will consent to appear as a criminal, a mock king. In this way, from the throne of the Cross, He will draw all things to Himself.

It’s been a couple of days since our last update on Payton’s recovery from pneumonia and cleft palate surgery. Long story short, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. She’s required oxygen - finally got off of that today - and has started crying finally. Before this surgery, she cried twice in her entire life, so that’s been very difficult for us to see because it means something is wrong and upsetting her. She’s required one of us to be by her 24/7 as she’s needed suctioning CONSTANTLY with all the junk coming up and the drool, along with her frequent puking and bowel movements. The antibiotic is absolutely helping with the pneumonia, but it’s destroying her little digestive system. Please be praying that her stomach starts to not upset her as much and she can give her body a bit of rest. The plus side is that she has started sleeping like a champ at night. Previously, if we could get six straight hours of sleep, we viewed that as a really good night. The past several nights, she’s gotten eight or more straight hours to the point where our night nurses have been slightly concerned. 😂 We seem to be turning a corner though, thankfully. We’re hoping that after taking five steps back with this surgery that we can now begin the road forward to taking 20 steps with speech, eating, etc. that comes with a closed palate. And we’re still finding moments of joy like this in the midst of the toughest two weeks we can ever remember. Thank you to everyone who keeps checking in on us, bringing us meals, and praying for us. We appreciate it more than you know.

𝗕𝗔𝗕𝗬 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝟯𝟰 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 Baby Sawyer Only 62 Days Old 𝗛𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝘀 The parents of 62-day-old Sawyer learned their baby’s blood contained 95 micrograms per litre of aluminium, a level that would be toxic for adults. The toxicologist who read Sawyer’s report said the aluminium and antigen levels in the blood were due to the vaccines On Oct. 27, 2022, Melissa took Sawyer for a baby wellness checkup, where the doctor insisted Sawyer, despite Melissa’s reservations, receive the scheduled childhood vaccines. These included: RotaTeq (for rotavirus), Hib (for Haemophilus influenzae b), Prevnar 13 (for 13 types of pneumococcal bacteria) and Pediarix (for diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B and polio). Despite her medical training as a nurse, melissa became skeptical of vaccines just two days prior when she watched a video of a toxicologist talking about the dangers of vaccines for children. She discussed the upcoming vaccinations with her fiancé, and they decided to go ahead with them. “We were afraid that the medical system was going to judge him and judge us and not let him into school,” Nick said. “We just hadn’t done any research on it.” After the doctor’s visit, Sawyer arrived home screaming and Melissa gave him the baby Tylenol recommended by the doctor. By the next day, the baby had calmed somewhat but was still acting “fussy and uncomfortable,” so Melissa gave him more Tylenol and some expressed breastmilk. When Nick got home from work that day, they put Sawyer into his bassinet for a nap around 5:30. By 6:15 the baby was fussing, and with some help was able to get back to sleep. He slept off and on for another four hours, while his parents kept tabs on him via his baby monitor and visits to his room. The last time Melissa checked on Sawyer, he wasn’t moving or breathing. She picked up his limp and lifeless body and started screaming. Nick rushed in to help but it was already too late. Emergency medical technicians arrived after the couple called 911. They tried but were unable to revive Sawyer. The county and state police also responded and, because it was an infant death, opened a formal investigation and ordered an autopsy. The police looked for evidence of child abuse or alcoholism but quickly concluded it was an accidental death. Melissa, grief-stricken, told everyone she would investigate the possible role of vaccines in Sawyer’s death. Finally, she discovered a suite of pathology tests that could determine whether vaccines played a role in Sawyer’s death. The tests measure C-reactive protein (indicating brain inflammation), liver enzymes, aluminum and mercury in brain and blood tissue, formaldehyde and formalin (another name for formaldehyde). A cytokine panel would also identify various blood factors and vaccine titer levels. Finally, they found someone in-state who, responding to Melissa’s grief, agreed to perform the tests on June 21. Although some of Sawyer’s tissue samples had degraded, the pathologist was able to perform enough tests to issue a definitive report. The report was technical and was not accompanied by any guidance or recommendations. Melissa said, “They never called me and said, ‘Oh, listen, this is high. This could be due to his vaccines.’ We will do a VAERS [Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System] report, you know, and advocate for other infants that pass away. No, we didn’t get anything from them.” So they had to hire a private toxicologist who could interpret the report. That second report arrived last week. “And she was the one that called us the other day and told us that his aluminium levels were very high,” Melissa said, “and that we needed to seek some legal services.” Cont: - Ria No More Silence -
