🚨 UPDATE FROM CHINESE COMMUNITY 🚨 I’ve been posting on Xiaohongshu (RED) as part of the #BringBackValko campaign and I came across something important that the global fandom needs to know. According to well-liked comments on a CN post (431 likes, 261 comments): 1. Papergames is currently in internal meetings and negotiations. No news before July 7th is actually a GOOD sign. Even if they decide to keep Valko, they won’t announce it early because that would leave them exposed. 2. The moderator of the LADS Super Topic on Weibo (the main community discussion hub) has been REPLACED. Previous leaks and planted content have been removed. 3. And this is the big one: originally, the company was firmly against bringing back the wolf. BUT after seeing the support posts from CN fans on the Super Topic AND the activity from international players, their stance has softened. There is still significant hope. 4. There are people INSIDE Papergames fighting for Valko. Every support post we write, in our own words, gives them leverage in their negotiations. They are watching. 5. CN fans are warning each other: competitors and paid trolls will try to start fights in the community. The instruction is DO NOT engage. Write your own content. Don’t copy paste. Stay positive. What does this mean for us? We are not screaming into the void. Our voices are reaching the people inside that company who want Valko back. Every post, every email, every review matters. They are literally using our activity as ammunition in internal negotiations. Keep going. Don’t stop. Write in your own words. Be respectful. Be relentless.

恋と深空 誰かと議論するつもりはないので、自分の考えだけ書き残しておきます。 「公式が没と決めたならお蔵入りなんて普通のこと。創作が否定されるのが嫌だから反対運動に参加してるの？」という意見を見ましたが、違います。 私は、【外部圧力によって本来描かれるはずだったシナリオが変更され、キーパーソンの一人が欠けた改変版の物語を見たくないから】です。 もちろん開発・運営は、ロウガを抜いてもシナリオの辻褄が合うよう調整するでしょう。しかし、それは私が見たかった『恋と深空』ではありません。 ロウガが発表された時点で、彼を含む正規ルートのシナリオが存在することを知ってしまった以上、改変されたものを提示されても「本来は別の展開があったのだろうな」と考えてしまい、没入感が完全に失われてしまいます。それが嫌なのです。 また、以前から私も指摘している通り、ロウガの衣装や演出には既存キャラクターとの類似点があります。この問題は「キャラ削除」という乱暴な手法を取らなくても、後から修正・調整できるはずです。 開発・運営に求めるべきは、「スケジュールを合理的に管理し、的確に最適化を行う」ことであり、新男性主人公・ロウガの実装を突然中止することではありません。 （これは、VIPフォーム及びEメールを通じて開発・運営に直接お伝えしています。）

there was literally zero improvement toward any aspect of the game upon removing valko. -content disparity -lighting issues/inclusivity not respected -main story back burner'ed -constant multis -no communication/refusal to be transparent -a roadmap should be essential for a live service game -farming dias & new orbits are important since its a gacha & battle game -etc. etc. etc. etc. all of these issues still exist even after almost 2 years of demanding for better & removing valko was absolutely unnecessary for even just addressing them. as for scrutinizing certain cn players, that was bred from a toxic, racist & homophobic environment that brown/black, queer & global players in general didn't deserve. kissing up to cn players is no different than bootlicking infold #BringValkoBack

The devs gave us so many clues that Valko was meant to be the part of the story...That alone proves he isn't a rushed character. Lads isn't complete without Valko. without him the game is gonna feel like a novel with empty pages..It's honestly not that hard to understand...
