Absolute horror. Al Jazeera confirms the Trump administration's near total fuel blockade on Cuba is causing infant mortality to surge. Doctors are literally operating blind in the dark as life saving machines shut off. This is a deliberate crime against humanity.

Trump has insulted and tariffed his European allies, persuaded Denmark to prepare for a US invasion and, by pressuring Ukraine and not Russia, encouraged Putin to keep fighting. All of which he has forgotten. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/03/…

This is insidious and seems like the groundwork for a military coup. Hear me out... “Trusted” troops get approved to carry on base. Thats essentially the quiet creation of an armed loyalty caste inside the military. Not formal military police, just a commander approved constabulary spread throughout the ranks under the cover of security and 2A rhetoric. So why announce it today? Because he expects blowback attacks on bases to ramp up after his “Stone Age” comment? Or is it a subtle intimidation tactic and final prep for a military takeover of the government? Selective arming. Discretionary privilege. An internal enforcement class. That has real fascistic potential

J.D. Vance in April 2025: “I think a lot of European nations were right about our invasion of Iraq. Frankly, if the Europeans had been a little more independent, and a little more willing to stand up, then maybe we could have saved the entire world from the strategic disaster that was the American-led invasion of Iraq…I don’t want the Europeans to just do whatever the Americans tell them to do. I don’t think it’s in their interest, and I don’t think it’s in our interests, either.” unherd.com/2025/04/transc…

Incredible news: Polish scientists find a way to "unplug" cancer’s immortality. Wonderful news! A team of researchers from the Jagiellonian University has discovered a molecule that effectively disrupts DNA replication and repair processes by blocking the function of PCNA—a protein that plays a critical role in these mechanisms. This fundamental discovery paves the way for innovative cancer therapies. Following the necessary clinical trials, this molecule (or its derivatives) could be delivered as a drug using nanoparticle carriers directly to cancer cells, effectively halting their division. At the heart of every cancer cell lies the PCNA protein. Think of it as a "construction manager" that ensures the cancer’s DNA is copied without errors and repairs any damage. This protein is what makes cancer feel nearly indestructible. The team led by Dr. hab. Wojciech Strzałka has discovered a molecule that acts as a precision brake, stripping the cancer of its ability to survive and multiply. The Team Behind the Breakthrough Pictured are the innovators from the JU Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Biotechnology (from left): Dr. Arkadiusz Borek, Dr. Ewa Kowalska, Dr. hab. Wojciech Strzałka, and Dr. hab. Monika Bzowska. This is a massive achievement! Congratulations to the entire team!

Important: a big chunk of Qatari gas output and LNG train expansion was designed to feed European demand. There was a big investment programme to increase LNG supply by more than 50% by 2027. Not coincidentally, this was the date that Europe was going to ban completely the purchase of Russian gas. In other words, the Iranians are smashing Europe's entire energy plan, such as it was. The big question now is will Putin stick to form and provide Europe with the energy it needs to stave off economic disaster, or will he finally twist the knife by banning sales to Europe in anticipation of the EU ban in 2027? This is the gamble European leaders are now making. Relying on the Russians to play nice after everything. Breathtaking incompetence.

The President of the United States just recorded a campaign video for Viktor Orban. From the Oval Office. Orban – the man blocking EU aid to Ukraine, maintaining warm ties with Moscow, and systematically dismantling Hungarian democracy for fifteen years – needed a boost ahead of his April election. So Trump sent one. “A very big hello to CPAC Hungary.” Reagan would have needed a drink.

Shit like this infuriates me. 1) Poland’s economic miracle was largely thanks to joining the EU and enjoying massive EU investments. In fact this was the main project for the EU for the past 20 years and a big reason why we didn’t spend as much on defense and tech. 2) They only needed a restrictive migration policy because the US triggered enormous refugee waves by bombing one country after another in the Middle East.
Stephen Miller@StephenM

And they did it while maintaining one of the most restrictive migration polices in Europe.

Ropa powyżej $100: szef RDIF twierdzi, że Europa zapłaci „kolosalną cenę” za rusofobię Szef Rosyjskiego Funduszu Inwestycji Bezpośrednich Kirill Dmitriev skomentował wzrost cen ropy, twierdząc, że Rosja pozostaje kluczowym dostawcą energii dla światowej gospodarki. Według niego bez rosyjskich surowców energetycznych niemożliwe są ani globalna stabilność, ani trwały wzrost gospodarczy. „Za błędy eurobiurokratów i rusofobiczną politykę Europa będzie musiała zapłacić kolosalną cenę” — powiedział.

Trump writes that USA has a virtually unlimited supply of “medium & upper medium” munitions but isn’t “where it wants to be” at the highest end. He writes that Biden gave away much of “the super high end” Trump on Biden: “giving everything to P.T. Barnum (Zelensky) of Ukraine”

"Kiedy leżysz w ukryciu i patrzysz w oczy rannego, który jest pięć metrów od ciebie, na zewnątrz. Nad nim wisi dron i czeka, aż ktoś wypełznie po niego, albo aż on sam doczołga się do kogoś, by się schować... i obaj to rozumiecie, dlatego on się nie czołga, tylko po prostu leży, wykrwawia się i patrzy na mnie...
