Superb political ad. One of the best you’ll see. This is better, and resonates more, than anything coming from Labour or the Tories.

A 4 year old child carries two gallons of water, heavier than his own weight, under the storm, with bare feet, over a very long distance. This scene captures the life of children here in the Gaza tents.

In #Gaza, women and girls living in shelters face overcrowded conditions and limited access to basic services. Caring for others, managing households, and maintaining daily life has become increasingly difficult. Yet, they continue to uphold their dignity in extremely challenging conditions.

So, as a doctor I can’t accept a plastic pen from a pharmaceutical company because it might influence my prescribing decisions, but MPs can accept thousands in cash from those who want to privatise the NHS and it won’t affect their decision-making??? CTFO thenational.scot/news/25967768.…

Why are crimes against Iranian, Lebanese, and Palestinian children not a priority for the European Parliament ? Because those responsible sit in Tel Aviv or Washington. When it comes to its allies, Europe supports or condones the worst crimes, undermining international law.

The genocide isn’t over. Although the Israeli government has expanded its Gaza playbook to Iran and Lebanon, the Israeli military is still carrying out a genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

I know that much of the "civilized" world is aware that Gaza's children and their families are being murdered in their tents by the gunfire of Israeli soldiers. I know the "civilized" world has witnessed the systematic slaughter and incineration of families in their shelters for months on end. But what I am certain the "civilized" world fails to grasp is that Gaza’s children have been deprived of an education for nearly three years. I was under the impression that this world championed the education of children as an inviolable right. How do you wake up every morning and take your children or grandchildren to school, yet never utter a word or lift a finger for the children of Gaza? How do you live with this fact? I assumed that even if these "civilized" nations were indifferent to children languishing in makeshift tents for over 870 days, they would find it unconscionable for infants to be preyed upon by rats. I am left questioning the moral framework this "civilized" world was raised on. What finally compels it to action, or what might finally deter it from bankrolling war crimes and crimes against humanity. This photo was taken this morning. The infant remains in critical condition.

Belgium’s MEP Marc Botenga exposes Europe’s hypocrisy: “You sanction Russia, which attacks Ukraine — but you support the United States when it bombs Iran. You condemn Russia, which occupies Ukraine — but you support Israel occupying Palestine and Lebanon. We blame our opponents for what we allow our allies to do — cheerfully — while smiling at Tel Aviv and Washington. The double standard of this Europe is not only a shame — it creates a world of chaos and wars, a world in which we do not want to live, and in which we do not want our children to grow up. Today, this Europe is not a force for good, but an accomplice to crime. That’s enough.”

Israel isn’t introducing the death penalty into its penal system; it is bringing a bill to allow for the execution of Palestinians detainees and only Palestinians. The issue here isn’t about the morality of capital punishment (as this statement misleading implies) it’s about an apartheid system so oppressive that it now seeks to dictate who lives and dies.
European External Action Service - EEAS 🇪🇺@eu_eeas

The approval of the Death Penalty Bill by the Israeli Parliament would be a grave step backward. The EU opposes capital punishment in all cases and under all circumstances. We encourage Israel to abide by its previous principled position. Read more: link.europa.eu/FFYKp3

Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention
The Lemkin Institute is horrified by the recent spike in the number of civilian casualties in Lebanon due to ongoing Israeli strikes, as well as the expansion of Israel’s target area within Lebanon. In our last RFA on Lebanon, the death toll stood at 394, including 83 children. In the span of only two weeks, the figures have surged to over 1,094 people killed, including 121 children and 81 women. According to UNICEF, the equivalent of an entire classroom of children is killed or injured every day in Lebanon. These numbers can be expected to increase as Israel continues its attacks on densely populated areas. The repeated “evacuation orders” issued with limited time notice, and lacking clearly defined safe corridors, effectively function as mass displacement orders. One million people are now displaced from their homes. As in Gaza, medical workers in Lebanon are on the frontlines of Israeli attacks. Since the war began on 2 March, Israel has struck at least 128 medical facilities and ambulances across Lebanon, killing 42 healthcare workers and wounding 107. The Israeli governments is now openly threatening to export its mass atrocity crimes perpetrated in Gaza to Lebanon. Defense Minister Israel Katz recently directed the military to destroy all crossings over the Litani River and demolish homes near the border “in accordance with the model of Beit Hanoun and Rafah,” in reference to Israel’s prior razing of towns in Gaza. These attacks he said, are “a message to the Lebanese state.” The message that emerges most clearly is that Israel is actively preparing the ground for the invasion and occupation of southern Lebanon. The Lemkin Institute reiterates its call for effective international action to stop Israel’s attacks on Lebanon. Israel is heading down the same road of total destruction that it paved in Gaza and is paving in the Occupied Territories. It is time for world powers to show courage and act on principle. Even if IHL no longer exists, as many powerholders say, the morality and ethics reflected in IHL still do. Without them, the world is lost. Never forget... "Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, who kept Kamal Adwan Hospital open as Israeli forces invaded northern Gaza, has now been imprisoned for a full year without charge. “A full year of injustice has passed,” his family says. He remains in Israeli custody under a law allowing indefinite detention without trial, along with at least 95 other Palestinian healthcare workers still detained by Israeli authorities, including 80 from Gaza and 15 from the West Bank." ©dropsitenews

Settler violence in the West Bank has intensified under cover of the Israeli-American attack on Iran. Since 28 February, armed settler militias, operating with military backing, have been entering Palestinian communities daily and attacking families inside their homes with clubs, stones, tear gas and live fire. The militias’ violence is expanding, shifting from attacks on small, isolated communities to assaults on large villages and towns. Since late February, settlers have killed 5 Palestinians. Four entire communities, home to 33 Palestinian families, have been forced off their land after their lives were made impossible by a pattern of repeated attacks. These militias are another arm of Israel’s apartheid regime, enjoying full backing, arming and total impunity. The daily, lethal violence they initiate is a central tool in Israel’s policy of dispossessing and expelling Palestinians from their land. Ethnic cleansing in the West Bank is happening now.
