His song “Lose Yourself” created for the legendary “8 Mile” movie won the golden statue but the funny part of the story is Em was so convinced that the Academy wouldn’t give it to a Rapper that he didn’t even show up. He ended up recouping that moment by performing the song at the Oscars ceremony in 2020.
