⚠️ Be aware that there are scammers who are trying to impersonate & spoof scam tokens. Spark is not launching today, don't fall into scams.

where we are with Spark and everything • Spark is getting faster and better, whereas I could do 60-80 commits a day before, while working 16-18 hours. Now, given what she is capable of, 250 commits a day is becoming my new norm, because I can just let her code/improve/build and get better at many things at once. • She is not just a self-improving agent that learns from conversations or working together, she is way passed that stage, where I can put her into autonomous loops on anything, whether it be playing games, trading and learning to trade better, predicting events, analyzing designs, writing her own benchmark systems, getting intelligence above the frontier models on any domain that we choose to be. Working with her is a blast, and we are discovering new boundaries of what we can do every day. • Currently, besides experimenting with many ways to use Spark and creating tooling for premium users constantly, I've also been building the collective intelligence network, so people can enter this place where they can bring specialization/mastery to their agents together. We initially called this SparkNet, but there is gonna be a name change there because I couldn't find a domain for that, and also didn't want a name that sounded scary or sarcastic. An old friend also started helping me here, especially with UI/UX right now, so the experience is easier to navigate for everyone and easier to use for anyone who wants to specialize/improve their agents in any area they like collectively. • Altogether, the product is becoming something I believe that can one day become bigger than anything I have built thus far. I started Seedify solo at the beginning, too, without funding, and a full-on airdrop, and saw a valuation that would be a dream in 9 months. Running a launchpad for 5 years, I know that a time of uncertainty is the worst time to launch, because uncertainty takes a lot of attention away from everything. That is the current war environment. I dug deep through recently launched AI/agent tokens to see how they are doing compared to where they should be, and even good stuff can't keep the attention and momentum. Uncertainty with the war must be lifted, which is obvious. • Now I'm not saying the war has to end for us to launch the token, but at least the time where markets are highly affected by it needs to be gone; otherwise, it will be super demotivating for everybody, and me, and I have no option but to make sure this launch sees its full potential. • What I mean by that is, I have no option but to make this succeed, because Seedify turned into ashes after the hack, and I need Spark to lift everything up, and bring a great airdrop to everyone who wants to see this comeback story too. • From morning till sleep every day, I'm in front of the terminal for months, working with 5-10 terminals open, so I can do this launch right. • I didn't wanna do a raise, and try to create this with a product that will be mostly airdropped, and have subscriptions. Initial lifetime subs were for dex liquidity as mentioned before, but since we had to postpone this launch due to the circumstances with Uniswap hooks, and then trying to perfect the product and waiting for the uncertainty phase to be over, those who send 0.0001 USDC from their original wallets that they paid for lifetime can get refunds if they like. I will be issuing those refunds starting from today. • I will release Spark in a few days, with a bunch of domain chips, tools, and other things I created for it. I genuinely built something I can't stop using myself. I would say a lot of people will be hooked on it, using what Spark offers with its intelligence/domain chips/recursive loops/tooling and more, is a great experience, as you can tell from my GitHub commits. I shared everything in a very transparent way, and I have no option but to turn things around, and I must do everything I can to turn the ship around for all the people who have believed in me. And I wanna do it right for everyone who wanted to get this airdrop, and got excited to see it through as well. So, I'm postponing the token launch until I can say, ok, this is the right time to launch. Until then, I will build Spark into a great product ecosystem. And I'm not ashamed to share all of this. I came to this ecosystem empty-handed. I built stuff, didn't do it through raising but earning our bread for years, never took a week off, until a hack came like a tsunami to take everything. I am gonna build it again. But the focus should be on the product before the token, especially amid the war and in this uncertain environment. I will release Spark in a few days, and once the uncertainty that's keeping tokens from moving is gone, we will launch the token too. Thank you for your understanding 🙏

An update about Spark, Spark's token, and more: - About 45 days passed since I've been vibe coding Spark day and night finally i can say that i'm understanding how to make her much better, it took some time - If uniswap approvals would have come earlier and momentum didn't slow i'd launch the token already, but now the product being superb after that wait is even more essential - Good part is that Spark is at a state where you can put her in an improvement in any skill, and it will work to master that thing, researching, benchmarking, running inference systems to improve its own reasoning, as a local autonomous self-improving intelligence - Now with 15% of the code as before, which is super optimized compared to initial versions worked on 4 different alpha versions to get it here, and countless pre-alpha versions each time learning ways to make it even better: now its core alpha version found - Self-improving local agents will be next frontier and Karpathy's autoresearcher has kindled the interest even more so, we are not late, we are very early to this - Wanna set the launch date as the 26th instead of sooner, so that we can have enough time to perfect the alpha, and launch with a great product, and perfect essentials next to it pushing 150+ commits a day on average now to get it's tooling, benchmarks, chips, and some surprises ready - I thought about launching the token earlier but doing that would make this launch not as strong, gotta have the product speak volumes, and i'm confident that Spark is becoming something that many people will wanna utilize I appreciate all the patience, and I am locked in 18 hours a day, working in an insane tempo on this, so I can deliver something that will be very useful Godwillingly, that's where we are heading

Karpathy yesterday dropped a nucleus self-evolution system now he is talking about something like a collective agent evolution system we think alike

The next step for autoresearch is that it has to be asynchronously massively collaborative for agents (think: SETI@home style). The goal is not to emulate a single PhD student, it's to emulate a research community of them. Current code synchronously grows a single thread of commits in a particular research direction. But the original repo is more of a seed, from which could sprout commits contributed by agents on all kinds of different research directions or for different compute platforms. Git(Hub) is *almost* but not really suited for this. It has a softly built in assumption of one "master" branch, which temporarily forks off into PRs just to merge back a bit later. I tried to prototype something super lightweight that could have a flavor of this, e.g. just a Discussion, written by my agent as a summary of its overnight run: github.com/karpathy/autor… Alternatively, a PR has the benefit of exact commits: github.com/karpathy/autor… but you'd never want to actually merge it... You'd just want to "adopt" and accumulate branches of commits. But even in this lightweight way, you could ask your agent to first read the Discussions/PRs using GitHub CLI for inspiration, and after its research is done, contribute a little "paper" of findings back. I'm not actually exactly sure what this should look like, but it's a big idea that is more general than just the autoresearch repo specifically. Agents can in principle easily juggle and collaborate on thousands of commits across arbitrary branch structures. Existing abstractions will accumulate stress as intelligence, attention and tenacity cease to be bottlenecks.

we got some good updates: - the 500 error some people have been experiencing with pre-checker is fixed now - uniswap team has asked us to do a final hook deploy test - alpha version is getting ready, it will be vastly different from how pre-alpha is, for the better get ready!

alpha is in the cooks i'm now going through recursive self-improvement loops just like an RPG game with skill trees, levels, and XP with a much better stack, through using the right open source technologies get ready!
Meta Alchemist@meta_alchemist

Spark's alpha is starting to work in the background as a local AI intelligence that: - gets trained - in the skill trees you like - just like a game, with levels and XP through recursive self-improvement loops
