The government says Bill 5 will make things faster. But skipping consent, ignoring consultation, and tossing out laws? That won’t speed things up—it’ll slow everything down. This isn't progress. It's a mess. Withdraw the bill. Start over. Do it right.

After just campaigning on fixing our economy, Prime Minister Carney’s decision to not table a budget is simply unacceptable. Despite what the Liberals think, the government is not a bank or a big corporation. People across Canada expect public investments to be decided openly and democratically, not in hidden back room deals.

The violence faced by Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people is a national tragedy — and it continues. On Red Dress Day, we honour every life stolen, and every family left to grieve. We recommit to truth, to justice, and to real action to end this crisis. On May 5, and every day: no more stolen sisters.
