I’m gonna say it again. I personally told every single lawmaker in Austin this would happen. I told the committee during the hearing that I was POSITIVE most Republican voters do not want to fund Islamic private schools nor wicken or LGBTQ private schools. Instead of addressing this issue or changing the bill to a tax exemption that would not fund the above types of schools with anyone’s tax dollars but the parents own they did NOTHING. The fix was in, they voted yes so Jeff Yass could quadruple his donation to Abbott back to him every single year off the backs of taxpayers.
