I’m a Butler native, and I was at the rally.
I was yards away from the stage when the gunshots went off.
You make a lot of important points in your post that I can confirm.
The security was abysmal and highly questionable from the moment we walked on the farm show grounds:
No SS on the water tower, no SS on the AGR building, no SS drones, comms were down between SS and local police, the TFR was only 1,000 feet above ground, the TFR ended at 6:15 PM, gunshots went off at 6:11 PM, and security never stopped Crooks climbing the roof whenever a bunch of people yelled for SS to help.
No one sane in the audience believes that Crooks was simply a "lone shooter."
No one believes that kid planned everything, outmaneuvered, and outsmarted everyone solely by himself.
Nothing makes sense about what happened IN and ON the AGR building.
I have friends who work in the AGR building, and no one has ever seen the surveillance footage from the cameras inside or out. It has never been publicly released.
Nothing makes logical sense about what happened that day.
The parents of Thomas Matthew Crooks have also retained some of the best attorneys here in Pennsylvania.
It's a top law firm in Pittsburgh: Quinn Logue.
No one seems to know who is paying for their expensive legal representation.
At the time of this photo, we were on the ground covering each other, but we quickly realized how bizarre it was that SS let Trump stand up and pose on stage, and then SS tried to hurry everyone out of the rally without ever confirming whether there were additional shooters or not.
It’s also exceedingly strange that Trump never talks about it and the media stopped talking about it.
There are endless questions I have about everything.
The only part I believe is that Corey lost his life, unfortunately. He was a good man.
I certainly do not have all of the answers, but something deeply sinister happened in my hometown that day.

Lowe’s is offering $250 million in grants to help those who want to learn the trades, electrician, carpenter, etc.
Home Depot lets you watch free videos to learn and get certified through them. This is actually paying you to go to school and learn the trades!
If you can’t find work, this is a great opportunity to get into the trades in Texas and electrician makes $250,000 a year

Abd texted last night to say he had finally crossed the border into Syria and was able to bury his sister, mother and other relatives. It was his first time back in Syria since he fled in 2011 as a child. He narrowly survived the bombardment on Wednesday.

"We're waiting to find the deceased's foot so his family can put it with the rest of his body and bury him."
Cannot get these words from a civil defense worker yesterday out of my head

I built a dashboard to explore the last 25+ years of @nytimes coverage. 1.5B words, 2.2M articles, 26K reporters. It's fascinating to look at the world’s preeminent news organization not as daily stories but as patterns of attention, ebbing and flowing. tedalcorn.github.io/nyt/

A European popular petition has surpassed one million signatures, allowing the demand to suspend the partnership agreement with Israel to be formally presented to European Union institutions under the European Citizens Initiative.
The petition gathered more than 1.007 million signatures within three months, meeting the legal requirements, including the minimum number of signatures from at least seven European countries.
The initiative aims to push the European Commission to submit a formal proposal to suspend the agreement, based on accusations that Israel has committed violations in Gaza and has failed to comply with rulings of the International Court of Justice.

"sleep training" a newborn means letting a defenseless baby scream for its mother in the dark until it's either exhausted or has given up on life.
the attachment literature is clear that before 6 months, a baby crying with nobody coming learns exactly one thing, that calling for help doesn't work
and you even have parents bragging about how they tortured their kid into an 8h sleep
you need to attend to every need of your child. they don't have a prefrontal cortex able to understand what's happening. if you love them and care for them, they'll barely cry, and when they do there's a clear reason you can address right away
