1 YEAR anniversary at @WalletConnect I started last year this time, just before @solana Accelerate and running a booth there was my first assignment (which was epic). During my first year at WalletConnect, I’ve done 3 jobs: > community lead > content producer > social lead I’ve traveled to 7+ countries to shoot films, run booths, and meet our partners and community members. Our content (especially the short film from the first WalletConnect Pay coffee shop) got hundreds of thousands of impressions which is my fav piece of work to date. I’ve learned a lot and grown a ton (thank you to @0x_Dodd and @Dolcemaschio whom I work with daily). Thank you to @Houlgrave for her leadership and for always being so encouraging internally and externally. Thank you to @pedrouid for scouting me and letting me troll him on X for a year. Yesterday, I gave a presentation on our social media strategy and I said “social media is a team sport.” Which it is. Social is nothing without our engineers who build things, our designers who make said things look and feel nice, our BD team that talks to people about it, and our execs that lead the vision. And of course, our operations team that’s prepared for any chaos scenario (inside joke for Rachel). It’s been an insane year with tons of growth (3,200% LinkedIn growth lol), and I can’t wait to see what the future brings. P.S. we are hiring. I’ll share jobs from the brand account.

My Claude Code just bought me products using my crypto wallet. Exploring agentic crypto payments; @stripe's MPP x @walletconnect Pay. Here is demo that my agent uses Machine Payment Protocol and any crypto wallet WalletConnect implemented to buy things. WalletConnect powers 700+ crypto wallets and millions of users - an incredible opportunity to extend that ecosystem into agentic payments. With our Agent SDK, agents can use WalletConnect as the connection layer and WalletConnect Pay as the payments layer. Here is simply how it works: It searches through the products using the MPP endpoint > initializes payment with WalletConnect Pay API > asks me to connect my wallet via QR > asks me to sign my payment > polls the payment and shows me the result.
